Just dry

Tefal actifry didn't satisfy my requests.I have tried different recipes but all resulted in a very dry food. Chips were dry, chicken same ,vegetables same.
I will not recommend this product to people who love a bit juice food.

Best Air fryer on the market!

Well there's so many things to say about this unit! I'll start off by saying, I bought my first one about 7 years ago. And after a month straight of use, I never turned back. Since then, (As rediclous as it sounds) I've bought 3 units and various attachments. I live with 2 family members so there perfect for making multiple meals at once! I to this day, use this air fryer 4-5 times per week. I truly can't say enough good things about the TFAL air fryer!!

Have made some amazing crispy fries and spicy chicken drumsticks with under a teaspoon of oil in minutes and relished it all in a matter of seconds. This is perfect for times when you have those urgent hunger pangs and can't wait for the oven to preheat.

Best homemade fries

I love my actifry. Easy to use and the homemade fries taste great. I own the family sized unit. Wish it held more as I have two teenage boys with great appetites.

Has a mind if it’s own

This product was weird and defective. I tried 2 of them and both worked poorly. They would beep and turn on on their own even when they were not plugged in. The company wasn’t very easy to deal with either.

Fast!

Love this airfryer as it cooks my meals super fast! Takes 40 mins for a chicken!!! Very easy to clean and great value for money! Highly recommended if you are the fryer type of person as its super healthy as well!

cooking one thing at a time

This has grown on me. The problem is you can only cook one item at a time, for e.g, if you want to cook chicken burgers and chips, you can only cook either chips or chicken burgers due to the setting being set up for one of these items at a time. As a result, the only way to cook multiple food items is use multiple applicances, which is expensive. It's not much use to try and cook a meal and have to use both oven and air fryer. That being said does it cook food perfectly? Yes. Chips, fries, chicken wings, etc, whatever you cook with it is cooking perfectly in the time given. I don't add oil really ever. The controls are easy to use. Just a couple of clicks and it is set. I just find it is useful when we are having chips with packaged meat or maybe an evening snack watching a movie, etc. Not good to make a full meal with. Also it is huge. It will take a big chunk of kitchen counter and it is noisy. Would I buy again, no. When I first got it I thought it was a huge waste of money, but it has grown on me a bit, but really what's the point when the oven can cook multiple things at once?

Decent product

I bought this and loved it. A bit pricey and price has remained steady for years. However I used it mostly for veges and stuff. Fries or fried type foods were not bad in it. Thing was if doing fries it wasnt large enough for 5 person family use and we had the family size unit. It takes a bit of time and do do more than 1 load of fries would take too long so we ended up back at oven or deep fried in the interest of amount/time. Also if adding too much fries they mushed under the paddle once they were no longer frozen but not cooked yet.

Best invention ever

There is nothing better than home made chips cooked in the chip pan with vegetable oil... or so I thought! I honestly thought nothing could cook chips as good as a chip pan but this does and it is healthy too! No need for oil just a few squirts of fry light and you are good to go! Cant recommend enough

Kitchen staple!

I really like this because it’s so much healthier than using an actual deep fryer. You can just put food in it and not have to worry about it while your getting the rest of your meal ready. You can make so many things in it like chicken wings and still get that deep fried texture. Love it!
