Hydrates a little too much

I've been using this primer for about a month now. Has a light coconut scent, not too strong. The consistency is thin and watery which makes for easy spread-ability. I don't think this primer was a good fit for summer but I think for winter time it will be perfect. For application I dot a few drops of it on my chin, cheeks and forehead before spreading it all over the face.

Base Tape - Not For Me It Won't Be

I received Tarte Base Tape Hydrating Primer in one of my beauty boxes that I subscribe to. I was stoked to see a new primer from Tarte, as I have quite a few products of Tarte and I have really enjoyed them, aka, Shape Tape Concealer, the holy grail of concealers imho. Anyway, I was so disappointed wiht this. My skin felt greasy and normally my skin loves hydrating products, but it did not like this one at all. This was a disappointing pass for me. Sorry Tarte, but you missed the mark on this. BTW - I did try it on a few occasions as I thought it might be my skin acting up, so I tried it during the week and on the weekend, same results.
