Would buy this again

I find this foundation is best for my skin during winter, when my skin is a bit drier. You also only need a little, as a little goes a very long way. I find using too much can make it look super cakey, but if you manage to find that right amount, it looks superb and flawless! For me, this works best when applied with a beauty sponge.

Decent foundation

I'm a big fan of Tarte products because they're natural, free of junk, high performance, and have no animal testing.

This foundation comes in hydration and matte. I have combination, textured skin, and I prefer the hydration formula, which goes on more smoothly. The matte one dries quickly and doesn't spread as evenly, and I think it oxidizes more.

Overall, I do like the foundation and will continue using it until I find something better.

Buildable coverage, bad packaging

I love Tarte foundation and this one is great for the summer to prevent extra shine. But I prefer the hydrating version overall. The other thing I hate is the bottle and applicator. Very hard to get it all out and lots of wasted product towards the bottom.

I would not buy this product again

This foundation is definitely a full coverage foundation although it is not long lasting at all and leaves me with alot of fine lines on my skin which is not appealing and my t-zone looks horrible after a couple hours

Extremely matte but does not last well

This foundation is the most full coverage I have ever used. However, it does not last well especially on my nose. I have oily skin and it sinks into my skin and looks streaky and just disappears. Very pretty while it lasts though!

Love this.

This foundation is very similar to the concealer it has that full coverage to hide away acne scars, dark circles and more you should really by this and get your money's worth

Tarte Shape Tape Foundation

This foundation has amazing coverage! Applies on smooth to the skin. Only complaint is that I live in Canada and they do not sell it at Sephora. So I wasn't able to get the perfect shade as I had to guess a little buying it online.

Cakey

From personal experience, doesn't matter what skin type you have it is still going to look cracky and cakey. After a few hours it looks oily and melts off the face.

Looks natural

I purchased the hydrating version of this foundation. This is such a natural looking foundation and it provides buildable coverage. It applies best with a beauty sponge. The only thing weird about it is the applicator, which is like a large concealer brush.
