Although Tarte is my favourite makeup brand this isn't my favourite mascara. Often runs on to my face throughout the day. Brush itself is great and separates lashes and looks good for a few hours, but if your eyes tear easily this is not the mascara for you - you will have noticeable black spots under your eyes. Tarte has a variety of mascara for all your needs though!

I really like tarte as a a brand and I do like this mascara. The mascara is what you'd expect in a mascara, but to me it doesn't stand out. It doesn't make me say that this is a holy grail product and I must repurchase it. I have yet to try a higher end mascara that I would choose over my drug store ones. To me they just aren't worth it. The price and the quality doesn't even out. I have tried many drugstore mascaras that do the same job sometimes even better and the price is much inferior to the higher end brands. I appreciate the quality of tartes brand, but this mascara is a one time deal for me.

Tarte's Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara is by far my number 1! Goes on smoothly without clumps, lasts all day and comes off easily. I got a sample in a beauty box and have loved it ever since.

I got a sample of this mascara in an ipsy bag, and I found that it delievered on the claims of being "jet-black." It makes my lashes look amazing, the look sperated and long but I just think that for the price this mascar could volumize a bit more of ave fibers to make lashes even more dramatic

I'm only giving this mascara a 4 star because it is not a bad mascara. It is very pigmented.. very black and stayed on my lashes all day without any fall out. I find that it gave me more volume than length

If you look at the Tarte website, the product description for Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara is "Jet-black lengthening mascara for 2700% more lash volume". With my experience, it did it's job for volume but not the lengthening. It's all good though. Tarte is one of my favorite brands. I would prefer the Lights, Camera, Mascara over this one though.

The brush is a bit big for my liking but not as big as the brush from Smashbox Full exposure. Price is $33 which is a bit steep for a mascara.

All in all, it's a good mascara and I'm glad I tried it.

Love this mascara by Tarte! Its very long lasting and does not clunk up the lashes upon application. Would definitely purchase this again. It also does not take too much product to get the complete long and thick lash look.

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!!! i heard a lot of positive things about this product and i finally got my hands on some and omgosh i fell in love it is dark black and separates the lashes perfectly

This mascara is amazing! It's so black. The brush is perfect, it lengthens the lashes and separates them beautifully. This mascara will continue to be in my makeup bag!

I love this mascara! It's the blackest of blacks. The brush is amazing. I have nothing bad to say about it. I love Tarte, and this mascara is no exception. It doesn't clump, it doesn't smudge. It's everything I want.

Of course when it comes to the brand tarte I usually expect greatness and this is no exception . This mascara does not clump your lashes, it simply fans them out into lush and full lashes that frame your eyes perfectly . This mascara is one of my new forever favourites.
