I have the Rainforest Shine collection and it works really well. My hair is naturally shiny, but the shampoo and conditioner just add to it. People comment on it all the time. Also, it smells really good. It makes me happy when i take a shower every morning, and whenever i hug someone and they smell it, they seem to be pretty happy about it too. The only thing is it took me a while to get use to the consistency. The shampoo and conditioner are both meant to be mixed with water before you start sudsing up your hair, so that can be a little weird to get used to. If you don't mix it with water beforehand, its pretty hard to get your bubbles going and your hand just ends up sticking to your head. Also, i don't like the conditioner as much as a like the shampoo, i don't think it works as well as a conditioner as it could. I personally would like it to be more detangling and softening like most conditioners are. However, i probably should have bought the moisturizing one if i wanted that...that's what i'm going to try next time. I really like the shampoo though, I'd buy it again for sure.

This shampoo has a nice honey smell to it, which gives it a natural feel when I put it through my hair. I've noticed that the shampoo is thicker than others I've used before, and could feel that the shampoo wasn't sucking the moisture out of it. After using for a couple of weeks, I definitely haven't noticed a difference.
I do like the scent however, and it does work as a shampoo. Since I received this as a sample, I don't mind using the rest of the bottle, but I do not plan to purchase it any time soon.
I would recommend this to people with normal hair that turn slightly dry during he winter. My overly-processed hair showed no effect, but I believe it should work better for those who do not suffer split ends due to over-dying.

when I found out that The Body Shop’s new line of products was totally silicone free, I had some inhibitions when it came to trying the products. My hair is super curly, so most of the time, it needs the extra conditioning that silicone provides. But, I do love all things Body Shop, so I gave the products a try, and I was super impressed! All I can say is that this one of the few silicone free shampoos and conditioners where I didn’t miss the silicone. I used the Radiance range to maintain my coloured hair, and after a week of using the shampoo and conditioner, I actually had to check the label to make sure that it was in fact silicone free! One of the active ingredients in these products is Pracaxi oil which gives your hair shine but is build-up free so that your hair doesn’t look dull or damaged after a few uses. I wouldn’t have believed that it does the job, if I hadn’t been using the products myself, but they are indeed so well made and do exactly what they say.You can also get the Rainforest Balance products for oily hair, the Rainforest Shine collection for normal hair, and the the Moisture collection for dry hair.
Everything is reasonably priced – 250 mL for each bottle of the shampoos and conditioners is just $15, which is cheaper than salon hair products.

The entire line is in Body Shop stores already.

The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo "helps restore moisture and improve the hair's softness without weighing it down, for a smooth and shiny finish using a moisturizing shampoo without silicones, sulphates, parabens or colorants."

This is a really effective shampoo for dry hair, I feel that it is actually making a difference is moisturizing my hair rather than coating is with silicones so that it FEELS silky (and later washes out). I don't have very dry hair but I do use styling tools so the ends are somewhat dry so I like to use something very moisturizing in between my regular shampoo washes.

One thing I didn't like at the beginning was that it was very difficult to create foam. With this shampoo, the instructions say to lather it up in your hands first but I find that all the lather disappears almost instantly once I apply it to my hair. By the second to third wash, I'm able to get more lather so it just takes some getting used to. I figured that it wasn't foaming well because it doesn't have sodium laureth sulfate (a foaming agent) but I'm willing to give up some lather for a product that is probably better for me in the long run.

I received a sample from the brand for review.
