Still have pimples after a month
This product is not for me. I don't notice any difference with my face or pimples after using it. It may clean my face a bit but that's all I've noticed.
I have oily combination oily skin and this product did not work out for me at all.
When looking at the ingredient list, you see alcohol as the second ingredient (that too, alcohol denat.) which is a simple alcohol found in anti-septic products (hand sanitizers). The product is meant to dissolve fast, but can feel very stiff and drying.
I was looking for a product that helped with the oil control, but not completely wipe away everything.
I love The Body Shop items, don't get me wrong. When I used this toner I found it to be really harsh on the skin as it made my skin really dry and irritated (I have combination to oily skin)!
Personally wouldn't recommend this product but it works different for everyone right? Maybe it'll work for you!
I felt this toner was too harsh on my skin. Instead of helping my acne it just irritated my skin. Also, it smells quite bad. Personally I prefer Lush's Tea Tree Toner as it is less harsh and more soothing.
I don't have that much experience with toner, so I'm not quite too sure what sort of results are considered good or not. But I bought this on sale (the Body Shop always has really good sales - NEVER buy anything full price) and the first time I used it, it burned my face. Definitely don't use it if you don't have acne-prone skin. I didn't use it again for a while until I actually developed some acne problems on my forehead, and then I reached for this product again. It stopped burning, but I also didn't notice it doing anything for me. I still use this toner just to use it up, but again, I don't see it doing anything.
I used it for about a week then stopped because it made my skin oily. It did make my skin feel clean but didn't really help with my acne. I won't be buying this again.
