Harsh, smelly, expensive

I was pretty excited for the rice line from The Face Shop, but once I tried it, I took it all back. I don't know what it is about The Face Shop but they love their heavy fragrances. There are some from other brands that I can get used to, especially when they dissipate so quickly, but I found this fragrance burned my eyes and the cleanser itself felt too drying. I'm not a fan of the price point either. In my opinion, there are far better cleansers that are easier on the skin, senses, and wallet. TFS has disappointed me for the last time. Also, people, if your face feels tight, the cleanser is no good. Your pores aren't muscles that stretch and constrict. Once they're stretched, the damage is done, but chances are your genetics play a heavy part in just having bigger pores. If you want to keep your skin clear and pores less visible, it's not about drying them to death until they tighten - it's about keeping them clean with gentle exfoliators and good regular self care.
