Teenage Cancer & Romance

The romance and bond between Hazel, and Gus, 2 teenage cancer patients. Hazel has stage 4 thyroid cancer while Gus has one leg due to osteosarcoma. They meet at a Teenage Cancer support group and their friendship and relationship blossoms and they share understanding over a book the author got tired of writing and ended mid sentence. Hazel and Gus both want to know what happened to the protagonist's family after her death and go to the author's house but he doesn't greet them with a very warm reception. Gus lovingly writes an alternative story ending just before he succumbs to cancer himself.

Such a heartbreaking story

This book made me cry. Its such an amazing book, the characters and the plot are well written. This book is much better than the movie. The story shares an emotional journey of Hazel and Gus who are both diagnosed with Cancer.

Still crying!

The best, most heartbreaking, hilarious book that has touched me like none other? Sure. I mean, it's been said countless times, in countless reviews, and you know what? They are absolutely, a hundred and fifty percent true.

Je relirais ce livre

J’avais déjà vue le film. Mais le livre est vraiment meilleure. J’ai dévoré le livre en quelques jours. Il est facile à lire et nous rentrons facilement dans l’histoire. Belle histoire touchante.

Couldn't Put this Down

Although this is probably one of the more sad books I've ever read, I couldn't put the thing down. I read (in one day) from front to back and wanted to read it again. I didn't feel that the movie really did the book justice as they seemed to follow different story lines.

First book to ever make me cry

The fault in our stars was the first book that ever made me tear up at the end. It was a ride all along and I couldn't peel my eyes off the pages. it was an awesome read.

Amazing

Love love love this novel, So much better then the movie but usually is that way. Very good read, sad and your need tissues but so worth it, couldn't put it down

J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé ce livre. La fin était un peu triste mais je le recommande beaucoup ! Très belle histoire. Bien décrit. Je l'ai acheté en français sur ma liseuse électronique (Kindle) mais aussi en livre à l'aéroport de New York en anglais. J'adore la couverture du livre !

heartbreaker

I adore this amazing love story. Its so griping and really tugs at your heart. the story lines and characters suck you right in and it is impossible to put down. Definitely one of those stories that make you think.

Tears for Years

I love the way John Green writes, his humor and sarcasm is amazing and hilarious. This story is touching and beautiful in so many ways. I don't want to get too specific, because its an amazing read and I don't want to ruin it for anyone by giving anything away. The dynamic of Gus and Hazel is breath taking, funny and so darn cute. I cried because I love these characters and there story was a pleasure to read (even though they are non-fictional characters).
