A staple in my routine for years

This retinoid has been my go to for many years now. It’s the first retinoid I started with and have never given me any irritation.
My skin feels firmer the next day and renewed.
I use it 5 nights in the week as I like to use fake tan on the other days which retinol takes away as it renews cells and exfoliates the skin.
I feel like my lines on my forehead and eyes are reducing and I can’t live without this product! I always apply after serum but before my moisturiser. 100% recommended.

Lovely Product

I bought this product as part of the 'no brainer kit'. I have been using this product for about 1 month now and I really like it.

It is gentle and has a milky texture. It isn't sticky at all and I feel like it has really smoothed my skin since using it

I was super disappointed that this product was discontinued in Canada.

This got me started on my The Ordinary addiction. I noticed a huge difference in my skin tone and fine lines when I added this to my routine. The formula is easy to work with and the bottle lasts forever. My favourite aspect is the price point!

feels nice, mild

very mild. the retinoid here is a combination so it is not pure retinol by any means and therefore very mild. For me after using up a whole bottle I didn't see any drastic change but I think that is perfectly fine as no change is the best thing you can hope for your skin. Emulsion version has a bit smell, smell like raw product but dissipate quickly and not annoying at all.

No flaking

I'm on my third bottle of this and it has officially made it to holy grail status in my skincare routine. I apply it every other evening alternating with an acid toner. It's gentle enough that it doesn't cause flaking like some retinol products. I would recommend this as a first product for someone who is just starting to use retinols. I've found it has aided in the fading of pigmentation from acne scarring.

SKIN SAVER

I've spent quite an unhealthy amount of money on skin products and this is one product that is totally worth every penny (even though it is very affordable). It has changed my skin for the better. I used to suffer from a significant amount of small sized acne all over my forehead. By using this product every night my acne has greatly diminished. My skin also appears very smooth in the morning. I highly recommend this product!

Affordable and great! Stop buying high end expensive brands. Check out the ordinary website. I suffer with adult acne and these products have been a life saver!

Truely One Of The Best I Have Ever Tried

I have read so many complementary reviews for this skincare line @TheOrdinary. So when I was browsing online for skincare products I found this brand @Amazon.ca. I could not believe how reasonable their products are so I bought two and this was one of them. @TheOrdinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion. This is a product that is used at night as part of your nightly skincare regimen. After I cleansed my face, applied my toner and then I just applied a small amount of this Retinoid Serum avoiding my eye area. It is light, unscented and quickly absorbs into the skin. I wait a few minutes and then I apply my night cream.

I have been using it about 3 to 4 times a week. I honestly have seen positive results in my skin after a couple of weeks. My texture and tone looked more improved. Also I found that my skin looked brighter. Was so happy with this The Ordinary 2% Retinol really great quality skincare and so reasonably priced. I will definitely buy this again, recommend and I am very excited to try more of their skincare line.

I'm a new but huge fan of The Ordinary products. Since I've used retinols for a few years I skipped the 1% serum and started using this about a month ago. it's the first product I put on after cleansing and toning and alter nights with the Lactic Acid 10% with no negative reactions. It glides on smoothly, absorbs nicely but I wouldn't use this as a last product because it has a bit of a sticky feel. It's easy to layer on another serum or moisturizer. I've noticed my skin feels a lot smoother and is brighter. Using a good vitamin C & E during the day helps retinols work better. Wish this had been around years ago before I spent all my money on those expensive creams, lotions and potions.

An excellent Retinoid product

This is the first Retinol product I've used and I'm really impressed with it. I started out using it slowly but now use it every other night; it didn't take long for my skin to get used to it. I haven't had any redness or sensitivity so far but I did notice a little flaking after the first month, which is normal. It also didn't make me break out like it does for some users. I'm so glad I tried this, I think it's really a great product.
