Overall improvement in texture and pores

I've used this product for a little over 2 months and have seen an improvement to the texture and brightness of my skin. My sebum production also seems pretty well regulated as I no longer get greasy in my T-Zone area even after a long day. I didn't see much of a reduction in pore size but this may be a job for salicylic acid instead of niacinamide. Value wise, this doesn't get any better than the price offered by the Ordinary. One thing i didn't like about this serum is the texture as it is kinda sticky and tacky when applied to the skin. Maybe i'm using too much but it leaves a film across my skin which i'm not too happy about.

Such a great product!

Incorporating Niacinamide into my skin care routine has provided lots of benefits such as strengthening and soothing my skin. I personally love applying this so affordable but super effective serum every single morning after cleaning my face and then following the rest of my morning routine. Since I have started applying Niacinamide, I have noticed this magic has helped in controlling and balancing the oil on my face and also minimized the sizes of pores on my nose and cheeks. I have experienced less breakouts as well!

Fixed my oily skin and made my pores almost invisible

This product allowed me to cut down on my skincare routine by addressing the root of my oily skin issues. I used to get acne (which sometimes became cystic), especially in my t-zone. This product reduced my oiliness and helped fade my acne scars. Also because my skin is less oily my pores look tiny now. Needless to say, this is a staple in my routine.

Did not work for me

did not work for me..after applying my moisturiser my skin would start piling, dont think the product was being absorbed into my skin properly...not sure at all..

Skincare holy grail!

The ordinary products really are amazing and that includes this absolute gem!
I have problem skin and this does amazing to help even out my skins surface and help with blemishes. 100% recommend this to anyone who suffers with their skin

Great product

Was a little sceptical to try but was recommended by a friend. Had a break out over forehead that seemed to hang around for weeks. Two or three days after using this product skin appears to be clearer, pores slightly reduced and breakout vanished. Not saying its a miracle cure... But for me it was close.

An absolute staple in my skincare routine!

I love this serum. It really controls my skin and helps to even my skin tone. I use it every morning and evening; its not harsh or drying at all.
My only criticism is the formula is slightly sticky - I haven't been wearing make up recently due to the lockdown, but I would probably skip use in the morning if I were to wear foundation.
It's so affordable and really does complete my routine. Wouldn't be without it again.

I have a few products by The Ordinary, and I honestly love each of them! It blows my mind how affordable yet incredible quality this brand is. I'm someone that invests a lot of money in skincare, but with this line, I don't have to break the bank! I also have the sensitive skin and nearly everything I put on my face breaks me out. Thus, I have to be very cautious of what I put on my face. All products from The Ordinary that I have bought have YET to break me out. Believe me ... that says A LOT. This particular serum is probably my favorite because it's the one I saw and felt a difference with almost instantly. My skin felt smoother and more balanced, and looked fresher. I highly recommend this serum to anyone who struggles with acne-prone skin. I mean for the quality and the price, this item just can't be beat!!!

the frosted glass bottle is so cute. When applying the product I felt a slight tingling sensation. Using this did leave my face a bit tacky and sticky ut the results where amazing after using for only a week and half my complexion was so much more clearer and I dont seem to have as many blackheads

I’ve heard great things about this product and was really keen to try it. Perhaps I wasn’t using it correctly, but it just didn’t work for me. I didn’t use much at a time, however there was a lot of pilling and flaking whenever I touched my skin. Also, I didn’t really see any benefits. Maybe that’s just me?
