    Awesome product, awesome company

Yes, the product is a bit expensive but the money goes to a great cause. The product works! I have never had leaks or problems, I also didn't find it gross rinsing after use. Really good purchase.

    Amazing!

These period proof underwear work wonders! I was skeptical at first, but put them to the test and they did not leak through at all! They're expensive but worth the investment!

Seems to do the job, but the price is high, and quality iffy

I bought a set of Thinx when they were on sale last month, and I've been using them almost a week now (spotting, not heavy flow). I'm not super-happy with them.

They don't leak for spotting, but they're certainly not every-day underwear. They have two layers, and seams and manufacturing inconsistencies between the two layers can show through light fabrics (In their defense, I bought the Hip huggers and boy shorts, thinking to maximize my protection. Haven't worn the boy shorts, as the ones I received appear to be defective... they've got so much fabric in the crotch area...) They can also feel quite warm, and the fit's not great for me, though I ordered according to their size chart.

The waist band is made of lacy elastic, which is not holding up well... after just one wash, 2/4 pair are showing wear at the top of the band. The inner layer seemed to shrink when I washed them (in cold water, according to directions) and hung them to dry. But the outer layer didn't, so now there's an extra fold in the fabric at the waistband.

I wouldn't pay the incredibly high price of Thinx again (about $50 CAD per pair after shipping and currency exchange, even with combined sale and period pack discounts) to try another style. Especially since I don't normally wear thong or cheeky style underwear, and if my IUD works out as expected, I won't have any more heavy periods.

However, if I end up having (my) normal (heavy) periods again, I can see the hip huggers style being great for overnight backup to a regular pad, as the protection goes all the way up the back, and farther up the front than most, which would prevent staining mattresses and sheets.
