worth every penny

This eye shadows collection is a must have. Lots of natural colours, some more brillants, some more matte. This palette offers a lots a vibrant colours and can easily fit to any eye colour. Mine are green and I find that palette very accurate to me. Either I want a more day light makeup or a more ''sensual'' shadowy look at night, this palette as it all.

I just posted a huge review of this palette on my blog with 6 different eye looks. Here is an excerpt of some tips on how to use it:

In the palette you are, as true to the usual Too Faced style, given a heck of a ton of browns. However, in addition to this you actually get a pretty nice selection of pinks, orangey coppers, greens and purples, therefore the eye looks that you can create with this palette are actually pretty diverse (as they should be for a palette that has 30 shadows).

My final thoughts on this palette
-It has quite a few different light shades for setting your eye primer. Because you have a few different shades from different colour families they will provide a good base for whatever look you are creating.
-I would advise using the shimmers wet. They were fine dry, but just fine. Using them wet definitely amped up the intensity for most of them.
-When following the glamour guide, I would suggest throwing in a few more transition shades even if it doesn't instruct you to do so. Use paler mid tone shades, and intensify as you go. You will end up with a more natural, professional eyeshadow look.
-Tap off your brush with all the shades, especially the shades on the fair right vertical row. The eyeshadow formula that Too Faced uses is very powdery (or crazy glittery like that last vertical row), and that's ok, but you should use precautions. These include tapping off your brush after dipping into the shadow, doing your eye makeup before your face makeup, or applying a generous amount of translucent powder to your under eye that you can then swipe away after you are done your eyes.

Overall, I really do like this palette and I do believe that it was worth the money. You can get a lot of versatile looks out of it. While some of the instructions and the pictures in the look book may be a bit misleading/not the best information you could have, the looks still turned out pretty damn good.

Pretty good palette

I'm a huge fan of neutral, natural looks so I had to have this palette. Pros: good price for the variety and quantity of colours, very versatile and it's fun to play around with all the shades. The pigmentation is also fantastic. Cons: major fallout, and I would personally have preferred a couple more matte shades. Overall, a good palette!

I have a love hate relationship with the wide variety of colours to choose from in the palette. I have a few go tos but don't find myself using more than maybe 10 shades. If you want to experiment with earth tones this would be nice and it's also a lovely bridal palette for wedding looks.

This Too Faced product is most likely my favourite, maybe even one of my favourite eye shadow palettes!
First off the price isn't too bad considering how many colours you get, and I must say I use almost all the colours. It's not like palettes where you love one colour and don't use the rest, it's a very versatile palette. The colours are really pretty pinks and Brown's and natural hence the name lol.
The pigment is amazing and theirs never any makeup that falls when applying. The shadow is smooth going on and stays on all day.
I also love it because their are some matte shadows but not all of them are.
I would recommend this palette to anyone!!

This palette is amazing. My absolute favourite shade in it is moonbeam. All the shimmery eyeshadow are super pigmented, and don't crease when I sweat in it all day! The matte eyeshadow Colours are wonderful to, and mixing them together in find makes a really nice Look! I'm not provide at blending, but it's super easy with this palette! It used to take me 10 minutes to do just eyeshadow, now with this palette it takes me less then 5!

one of my most favorite palettes from too faced Im so excited for this because it has soooo many eyeshadows an you can create so so many looks an they look natural not too bold or dark that you cant wear out to public i am loving it, i wear this palette almost everyday.

i have been dreaming about this since the day they started to show teasers, i finally picked it up 5 days ago, and i haven't touched my modern renaissance since, Too Faced eyeshadows are always my favourite to work with, and i love it's all neutral colours i can use everyday, and for the price it was well worth it for 30 colours

Too Faced products are simply the best. Always high quality and gorgeous pigmentation. The colours are simply stunning. If you have the chance I'd totally recommend checking it out.

Disappointed :( any advise!!

I was so looking forward to this palette but it did not live up. I waited over 3 weeks for this and tho the colors look great and the packaging is nice but it did not go on well and the fall out was horrible. More ended up on my face then on my eyes and it was so hard to blend. I wanted to love this product so bad only a few of the shadows show up without having to build them up tons. any suggestions on how to make this product more usable? would maybe spraying my brush with a setting spray keep the color in place and make it more pigmented?
