e for girls
I thought this was a good idea for this toy. But. It took over 16 hours for the clay to dry. The dryer did not work in 30 minutes or 2 hours. One piece took 2 days to dry. I liked it. It was a fun little toy. It just wasn't as it is described.
Fun playtime
We had so much fun with the twinkle clay play set. The clay that came with it was VERY wet and hard to use, so we improvised and used model magic to make our creations. My daughter made a princess crown and wand, and loves to play with them with her dress up clothing. The built in fan helped dry the model magic Mich faster than air drying it, she loved checking on hee creations! It is kind of a use once and the fun is lost on it toy...but she enjoyed making her designs. Maybe she will have interest again in a moknth or two.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Maker
I gave this box to my production assistants, my crew, my shenanigan monkeys in charge to assemble and test out. Assemble was pretty easy, but some parts didn’t fit together well. My middlest of children was a little disappointed b/c the roller tubes were the parts that weren’t working. They took great care to keep the molding clay wet while working and were really good about following the instructions. The dryer was as good as you’d expect from a toy, so we did have to leave the creations out for a bit to harden up in addition to using the dryer. All in all my future jewelers enjoyed crafting with this clay and they liked the included inspirational demos.
Could be better
I thought the concept of the toy was great. My daughter had a really fun time playing with it however, the roller didn't actually roll the clay out. It got stuck and we had to dig it out and flattening it ourselves witch made it harder to color blend. The instructions also said the clay would harden within 30 seconds once in the fan, it wasn't hardened at all, in fact the fan did nothing for the clay. We had to sit her creations in the sun for them to harden. The process was a lot of trialand error but she had fun with the clay.
Didn't like
Young children will play with anything and be excited so that's okay that's good. The look of the machine and the set itself is very cute. But there were some flaws first of all Clay is kind of sticky. And the roller that it's supposed to go through does that flatten it as much as it makes a blob when it comes out and kind of got to keep pushing it through to flatten it. If a kid was trying to do this by their self it would make more of a mess than it was worth. Also the dryer takes kind of long to dry doesn't seem to dry all the way. It definitely has some flaws to work out.
Twinkle Clay
My children enjoyed playing with Twinkle Clay. They made many fun creations including a crown with jems, ring, wand, and other fun creations. They liked the colors of the clay also. The instructions were very easy to follow. The air drying oven was a big hit. The clay was very sticky and at times hard to work with.
Not my favorite toy.
Twinkle clay it’s a cool toy. It comes with 3 glittery clays (pink, blue & white), very cute! The colors of the toy itself are very girly (pink, purple & white) my girls loved all the colors! It’s a little hard to put together, the rollers smooched the clay instead of making it flat. The clay, it’s a little messy and sticky, at first it was kind of hard to create stuff because it got stuck on the surface. When it got less sticky it was easier to handle. The dryer takes a lot of time and we felt that it didn’t do it’s job; the clay still soft after 30 minutes in the dryer.
The toy needs improvement, nice concept though. *I received this product for free in exchange of my honest review.*
