I'm so happy to receive this product from ChickAdvisor! In summertime, my skin always create a havoc with extra oiliness, breakouts and just redness everywhere! I have super oily skin in the summer, and super dry in the winter, so I have to be really careful with the content of salicylic acid in the products that I use. Good thing that this lotion has the perfect balance of salicylic acid content, not too low like 1% in any other acne treatment out there, or too high >2% that usually cause extreme dryness and makes my skin even worse! Thanks ChickAdvisor and Vichy! This is great!

I received this product free from Chick Advisor as part of their Vichy panel (specifically the Acne line)!

The pros: The product has a light scent which is rare yet appreciated when it comes to acne treatments. I could smell the acne medication, but it was very light and in no way bothersome. The formula was non-greasy or oily and my skin did not react badly to it nor did it leave my skin looking really shiny like some medicated face treatments do. The colour of a product isn't usually TOO significant, but it is in lotions meant for acne as an abundance of chemicals can be harsh on your skin and even make your acne worse. The product was lightly coloured, looked natural and did not harm my skin. Overall, the product left my skin feeling smooth and I really believe it helped improve the look of my skin combined with the cleanser and toner. I'm really happy with the moisture it provides my skin (which is needed from the toner which dries it out a bit).

The cons: The only negative thing I have to say about this the thickness/consistency. I've not ever encountered face lotion with this kind of consistency. It was almost a bit too thick to spread over my face thinly or smoothly. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be that way to lock in moisture, so I'm hesitant to be too critical for this reason. Though personally, it is not a consistency I'm too fond of in a face lotion.

I received this product free from ChickAdvisor to test and review. I use this lotion in the morning after using the cleanser. It does not have a strong scent, which is nice, and does not leave you face oily or tight. This lotion is also fast absorbing and could be easily worn under make up

I really liked this treatment. I loved the bottle and the cream - the cream aas what really sold me on the quality of the product. It is smooth and not greasy, but it also doesn't dry out and hurt my face, so that made me very happy!
I found it effective - combined with the cleanser and toner my face tone and complexion seemed visibly softer, smoother and even. My only criticism is the creams used 1.5 salicylic acid and I have creams from other companies that are 10% benzoyl peroxide that seem to be more effective for my type of acne. Granted, this is intended to be a gentler form and my creams are more aggressive (and not as much of a quality product either, and they have their own issues).
From that, I would prefer a higher concentration of the acne-fighting agent. Perhaps there us an extra strength version I can purchase!
With a longer term use of the product I suspect I will be quite happy taking a more gentler approach to combating blemishes.

Jai en général aimer ce produit par contre je ne peux pas dire qu'il a été miraculeux pour moi... Jai dès problème d'acnée depuis longtemps ... Mais cette crème est très hydratante et est également une très bonne base avant le maquillage qui aide également contre l'acnée, donc je vais tout de même la racheter dans le futur

Vichy norma dermatologist corrective anti acne treatment 24h works pretty good seeing as many products I've tried don't do the trick. Love that for the size of the bottle, this product goes along way and spreads very nicely. I use it after washing my face and toning it. Helps keep my acne at bay.

The Vichy normaderm hydrating moisturizer is a great texture.
Perfect texture for an oily or combination skin type.
Absorbs quickly and wears well under foundation.
Works best for breakouts if you are using the other products
with it, especially the cleanser.

This is the only product that I can use under foundation that doesn't make my face oily within a couple of hours. It is really light and absorbs quickly.

This is the first I've tried of the Vichy Normaderm line. I read good reviews for it, and decided to give it a try (even though I think it's pretty expensive, I normally by cheaper-to-mid level products like Clean&Clear;or Cetaphil). I tend to break out often, but this did not create more breakouts at all (love that it completely oil-free). During the winter when my skin gets drier (but still gets breakouts!), but I found that it did moisturize really well and I didn't notice dry patches all winter! I did use this moisturizer with the same brand's cleanser and found that when used together my skin was the clearest, but, I have been using lately with a different cleanser and it's still working well. I think if you have a moisturizer that works well for you and you love, don;t switch for this, but if you have acne and are wanting to try something new, I would absolutely suggest trying it out.
