I was so excited to get chosen and to receive Vichy Normaderm. I have oily skin and I tend to get tiny pimples or bumps that I lovingly call pimplets, mostly during and around my period. I like the Purifying Pore-Tightening Lotion. Using a cotton pad, it gently sweeps away whatever make-up, dirt and oil the Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel missed. I'm used to having that skin tightening after using toner, but the Normaderm Lotion did not leave my skin feeling stretched. There is noticeable scent, but I don't mind scented products and it smelled fresh.

My husband also tried Normaderm with me. He has acne prone skin, and he said it was an "okay toner".

Together with the other products in Normaderm, I noticed that my pimplets go away a little bit faster. I have this pimple on my forehead, and it's getting bigger, not coming and going like my pimplets. I guess it just goes to show how gentle Vichy Normaderm is, and that it will probably work well for those with sensitive skin.

My husband, on the other hand, had his skin under control (only a couple of pimples) BUT experienced a worse breakout (his whole right cheek flared up, with random pimples on his face) while trying out Vichy Normaderm. His acne and blemishes subsided once he returned to his previous regimen.

I was excited to try this toner for free through the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I don't have much experience with toners (which is what this is, so I'm unsure why they call it a lotion, it is obviously a liquid), but this one seemed fine to me. I received it as part of a 3-step acne treatment package, and while I received no benefit with my acne, I realize that this product is not meant for that as much as the cleanser and treatment, so I won't discredit it - the label says it is for sensitive skin, which I have. It didn't irritate my skin at all, in fact my face felt very clean and fresh after, perhaps a little tighter, as advertised, but not noticeably so. It is easy to apply, simply wet a cotton pad and swipe all over your face. It has a pleasant, mild, yet somewhat perfumy scent, and you don't need a lot to wet your cotton pad so the bottle should last a while - I used once or twice a day as directed, and over 4 weeks used about 1/3 of the bottle. I also found it removed any makeup or dirt left behind by the cleanser, which made me feel very clean before going to bed.

As mentioned with the other parts of the Normaderm line, I was thrilled to get this given my breakouts this summer. I normally don't use a toner after washing my face (this is called a pore tightening lotion but it's more like a toner IMO).
I liked that it didn't smell too chemically and it seemed to take off some makeup residue which was nice. Overall my skin felt nice and fresh after using it but I don't think my pores actually look any smaller. It's a nice product but not sure it actually achieves its purpose.

Love the nice light fragrance... it makes my skin feel soft and smooth... has not dried out my face yet from multiple uses... nice sized bottles to be able to carry anywhere for a refresh during the day...the price is a tad pricey but so far the results have been great ...and its something I would purchuse if the results continue to be ok

I received this product courtesy of chickadvisor for review. The Vichy normaderm pore tightening lotion toner smells nice. I used it after the Vichy gel and it worked well to minimize the acne that I have. I use to get a lot of breakouts but after using this Vichy line my acne didn't seem to 'flare' as much. It left my face feeling smooth and it didn't dry out my skin.

I received this product through the Product Review Club. First off, I would call this a "toner" rather than I lotion but that's just me perhaps. Anyways, I liked this product. It doesn't sting or have a harsh feeling on the skin. My skin felt refreshed and like it was taking away any of the dirt that I might have missed with just cleansing the skin. I would saturated cotton ball with the lotion and felt like it did the trick. My skin didn't feel tight afterwards nor did it feel sticky. However, I didn't notice a drastic change with my skin. I currently have 2 large blemishes right now. I normally don't get blemishes this big so I am not sure if this is part of the whole "worse before it gets better" deal? I will continue to use the product because I like it but I had hoped for a better result.

I was given the opportunity to try out this product and I"m very pleased with it. I have big pores on top of my nose so I often get blackheads. The blackheads seem to come back after each cleaning because my pores are so big. After trying this out for two weeks, The blackheads seems to almost disappear. My pores are smaller for sure. The best part is, it doesn't dry out my skin. I do feel a tightening sensation however it doesn't feel dry to the point that it itches and cause skin irritation.

I have noticed an improvement in my pores since I started using this toner (which came as part of a sample kit.) it feels good on my skin, and doesn't leave it feeling right like some other toners that I've used.

A second-step in this line, the pore-tightening lotion is essentially a toner. It is very refreshing and cleans anything that the cleansing gel may have missed. It is lightly fragranced and preps the skin well for the moisturizer. The MSRP is good but compared to the gel cleanser, I could see myself going through at least 2 bottles of toner to every one bottle of cleanser.

The name of this product is a little misleading, but it’s actually a toner, not a lotion. This product was definitely my favourite out of the three I received. It’s very lightweight and left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. Similar to the cleanser, it does a great job of removing excess oil and leaves my face matte. The scent is also much lighter, and quite pleasant. I also like that it doesn’t contain any alcohol.
