This book has never stopped being one of my favorites. It was a story I loved as a small girl, and one I can stay interested in on a different level today. This is right up there with Moby Dick. A must read!

Watership Down is an absolute must-read!
It's one of my favorite novels of all time and is now available in a 40th Anniversary edition.

It is an allegorical tale of a warren of rabbits who have to flee their home because their country domain is being destroyed by modern man and modern man's technology.

It is the story of each individual rabbit in the warren as they try to find a new home in this often cruel world.
This novel is beautifully written and is a very moving read.
You will cheer for these rabbits, your heart will break for them, and you will relate to each and every one of them.
Prepare for page turning excitement, extraordinary character development and remarkable emotional depth.

You will love this novel.
