I always go back to this eye brush.

The bristles themselves are soft, yet firm enough that it applies shadow with precision, and fits over my entire eye lid. It applies the powder in an even stroke and as is very easy to use. I normally use this brush to apply the base and the highlighting color.

I find it very easy to clean and dries wonderfully, without altering the bristle and brush formation. I have yet to find any bristles that have fallen out and I have been using this for a couple of years now. The brush is a bit pricey, but considering I have been using it for a long time and it still looks like new, worth the money in my opinion.
