I have been in bath and body many times. I have bought candles, soaps and candle holders. What I am not impressed with is the aggressive greeters as soon as you step in the door. They ask you a ton of questions and you just want to browse. But if you have a question they are very helpful. The items there are quite expensive, but the quality is good.

Before B&BW;came to Canada, a friend of mine offered to bring me some items from the US when she came for a visit. She asked me what 'flavour' I liked. "Flavour"? "Don't you mean scent"?

She brought me a few things from their Raspberry line. I was hooked. The scent is wonderful. They have decent shower gels and lotions but sometimes the 'flavour' is too strong. The lotions work marginally well. The longest lasting part of them is not the hydration, but the flavour. If it's one you don't like, it takes a lot of hand washings to get rid of it or to mellow it out to a level where you can't detect it.

Their candles are nice and so are their lip balms.

Its all about the scents. I occasionally buy products at Bath and Body Works they have lovely scents. They are cashing in on the candle/scented hand cream craze. Its powerful smelling stuff and definitely stuff I would not use every day. It is one of those store where those who like it like it ALOT!

Not alot of variety of products - selection is slim from what they used to carry, though Canada doesn't sell all the same items as usa.
They discontinue many of my fav products.
Always bringing new items to the shop (seasonal)
