I had the opportunity to attend the Perfect Parisian Macaron class at Le Dolci and I really enjoyed my experiences there. Prior to the class I felt that Macaron was a very difficult thing to bake and I will probably not do it on my own. The easy instructions and informative class really changed my mind. They offered a lot of helpful tips that made it a great, fun, learning experience. The instructor was very friendly and experienced. I do agree with Alex that you don't get a 100% hands on experience since it's a group class, but it does cut down on time and it's still informative nonetheless. I think the class is reasonably priced since the amount of macaron you get to take home will cost you about half the class's price ($80) if you purchase it at other places. Overall, I had a great experience and recommend it if you're looking into learning some baking techniques or as a gift!

I had the opportunity to attend Le Dolci for one of their amazing workshops! They invited me to try out their workshop on how to make the perfect French macaron and not only was it very fun, but at the end I got to bring home a dozen macarons and they were so delicious! I loved how informative this class was too. If you're into baking, and you want to learn techniques, this class is for you but if you are a novice and just looking for something light, not too intensive, I would recommend a cupcake decorating class or something similar. The instructors know what they are doing and are very helpful. You can feel free to ask them questions or for advice. The one thing I wasn't a huge fan of was that you won't get a ton of hands on experience just because you're in a group of about 8-10 other people. This makes it easier because you get to learn from others and it keeps the prep time down to a minimum but you won't get a lot of mixing time. It's a bit pricey, I think around $80 a person but this would make a great gift!
