My boyfriend and I went to PF Changs this past Valentine's Day. Neither of us had been before, and we had heard amazing things, so we decided to check it out. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was anything special. Most dishes are on average $15, which isn't too bad, but considering it just comes with the protein your order, and white or brown rice, I didn't think that was really worth it. The food tasted good, but in my opinion, it honestly tasted like the same chinese dishes you can get at the take-out places. When I heard it was more upscale asian, I figured it would be more interesting, unique asian dishes, but the menu consisted of dishes such as honey chicken, orange chicken, pepper steak, etc...(the same basic asian dishes). The ahi-tuna and calamari appetizers that we got were good, but I don't know if they were worth it either. All-in-all, the ambiance there was nice, but I don't think I will be returning to PF Changs. For the prices, I would rather go to somewhere else, and if I am craving chinese, I would rather order in.
