Breyers Double Churn Dark Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream

That is pretty much how I can sum up this ice cream! I also LOVE chocolate and dark chocolate is my crux. This is cream is awesome - super smooth and creamy, melts perfectly and is chocolately enough to keep me satisfied!

It was a bit pricey, but I splurge on ice cream as it is a big treat, and this one is worth it!

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to review the ice cream by chickadvisor. I was expecting to receive a small package with the coupons for the ice cream but instead, I received a nice packaging from the Breyers marketing package the contained three bowls as well as spoons for me to share with friends! I highly recommend this product to dark chocolate lovers as the ice cream is rich in flavour and not too sweet. Non-dark chocolate lovers, give it a try as well! The flavour is quite original as it is uncommon to find dark chocolate. Add a bit of whipped cream and strawberries for a very delicious looking dessert!

This flavour was very true to its word. It was not too rich but it was just it enough and the it was so smooth and creamy and I enjoyed it. This was the last flavor I tried of the three breyers double churn ice cream and it was satisfying. Definitely one of my favorite dark chocolate flavored icecream's I've tasted in awhile. I also forgot to mention that I loved the package it came in for the product review club..really welll put together!!! :)

I was selected to review the the ice cream by the review club. I was very impressed with Breyers marketing package that arrived - kudos to them for that. But what impressed is the product itself. I have developed a taste for dark chocolate overtime, and this one - in icecream - sure hits the spot. I paired it with some strawberries and a few mint leaves.. will impress any guest at your dinner parties. My description would be: Gourmet ! Splurg..its worth it!

After I got my wonderful package from Breyers through the product review club, I was most excited about this flavor and I have to say I'm hooked!
I'm a huge dark chocolate fan and this ice cream was perfect! Rich, creamy and not too sweet. A perfect complement to strawberries for a decadent dessert. This flavor was my favorite and I'll definitely be buying it again! DELICIOUS!!! (and worth even the non-sale price of $9!)

I received the box in the mail from Bryers and was really impressed. It had 3 cute little bowls and 3 cute littel spoons in it. It also had coupons for the 3 new flavours. I went everywhere to buy ice cream in my area (i live in a small town) I even drove to neighboring towns and this was the only flavour I could find. I tried it and it was good, a little too sweet and rich for me so I could only eat a few spoon fulls. If you really like chocolate ice cream I would recomend it.

First of all, I received a big box in the mail. When I opened it, it was an elegant looking Breyers box. When I opened the Breyers box, it was so pretty inside. It had 3 spoons attached to an enveloppe along with a letter from Breyers and three bowls. It also had 3 coupons for 3 cartons of ice cream, which were Dark Chocolate Velvet, Banana Cream Pie and Chocolate Cheesecake. It was all placed on this beautiful green silk cloth.
This kind was the last one that I got to try, because I couldn't find it anywhere. When I was out of town, I spotted it, lucky thing we had a cooler.
This ice cream tastes really good. It has a rich, sweet and creamy taste to it. With the dark chocolate taste. Although I am not a big fan of dark chocolate, I prefer the milk chocolate, but not anymore! This ice cream taste awesome! It is so delicious!!! I recommend this kind. It is a definate must try!

LIke many others, I must admit I was most hesitant about the Dark Chocolate Velvet because I tend to indulge in sweeter milk chocolate. I must admit, however, how wrong I was! The ice cream is incredibly rich and smooth. It is also sweet (though not overpoweringly so) and tastes great both on its own and with a handful of nuts and a little whipped cream!

I would definitely recommend it!

My friend was chosen for this product review through chickadvisor.com and let me try it too. This dark chocolate ice cream is amazing. I am a huge chocolate fan and was very happy with this ice cream. It is rich and it captures the taste of dark chocolate well. It is a step up from the usual chocolate ice cream that I have had. I will definitely be buying this product in the future. I have already recommended this ice cream it to my friends.

This was the one flavour that I was a little more hesitant about. I'm not usually a huge fan of boring old chocolate ice cream and most of the time, pass on dark chocolate, but I was pleasently surprised with my frist bite. I found this ice cream to be very creamy and smooth, I excpected it to be incredibly rich, but found it to be not so bad, mind you I couldn't eat very much of it as it's incredibly heavy and filling. I think that this was my least favorite out of the three, but for all of you chocolate lovers out there, I would highly recomend it. :)
