I made a big batch of pepper jelly with this pectin last summer. At first I thought it was very watery and wondered if I should have kept it boiling a while longer. However, after bottling my jam it took a few weeks for it to become solid. You have to be patient....it does work.
I used Certo Liquid Pectin for a batch of grape jelly - so easy to use! Once it's added to the juice, it boils for one minute and the jam is ready! Helps the jelly set perfectly.
