reviews I have bought this from Mauritian local supermarket..hmm it is rather expensive here. I got this in Peache Quarts 40 for some 25$. reviews This is a wonderful alternative to more expensive mineral-brand blushes. I do not use the rest of Maybelline's Mineral Power line but I do use this blush. It is a great value (averaging $8-$10 US), lasts a long time (you do not need to use too much), fairs well in terms of staying power, comes in a variety of natural colors (plums, mauves, pinks, corals) and like most mineral makeup, is easy to apply. Plus, if you ever find yourself in a makeup emergency, you know that you will be able to easily find this at any nearby drugstore, retail store, or the like and it won't hurt your wallet. reviews *Price: I give this a 5/5 stars because it's a cheap blush that lasts quite a long time. I tried the blush in "True Peach" and I have to say this was my favourite product of the Mineral Power line. It went on nicely and looked natural - perfect for a spring glow. reviews I tend to be really picky about my blush and generally prefer a cream blush, however I was quite pleased with this product. I use a lot of loose powders and am aware that a little goes a long way, so I didn't have the problem with "over coverage" that some other girls did. I found that it went on nicely and provided a natural glow that I liked. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I was really impressed with the power blush. I'm very fair, so I chose original rose, but I was worried about whether the colour would suit me or be too dark. I had no reason to worry! The colour was dark enough to be effective but subtle enough to appear natural. I had to be careful, though, not to get too much on the brush and found that tapping the bottle helped to get off the excess. I tossed out my old blush after trying the power blush and it is now part of my everyday makeup! reviews Being a bronzing type of gal, I was a bit nervous trying out the Original Rose Power Blush. Thoughts of the 80's and shocking pink came to mind. However, this shade rocks! Not only was the colour subtle, it was a soft, natural pink... almost like you're not wearing anything at all. I noticed a few sparkles on my cheeks, so not for the matte lovers. Application was easy, HOWEVER be weary of blush brush provided; it holds too much product. You have to tap it excessively, trust me... product will stay be applied. reviews My skin has a lot of red undertones, so I normally do not use blush on an everyday basis because of my fear of looking too flushed all the time. However, I gave the “rose” colour a try and found that it looked really natural. I used the application brush and only used a very small amount but found it blended well and was muted enough to not look red or blotchy. I think I will continue to use it more regularly as it went on lightly and didn’t feel or look like I was wearing any make-up. The loose powder application was new to me, but after a few days I got used to it and liked it a lot! reviews I got this blush in the Peach tone and was very worried that it would be too pinky for my skin tone. But I'd heard peach tones were in for the season so I thought this was a good opportunity to try it out. I have been pleasantly surprised. It does tend to go on heavy, as some of the ladies mentioned, but if you are careful, use a good brush and tap off the extra it can look very nice and natural. I use a little bit on the apples of my checks and really like the healthy glow. I would recommend this blush to anyone looking for an effective blush at a reasonable price.
