I'll be honest; it was those magazine ads that show Kate Moss with the incredibly long/fake false eyelashes that made me want to buy this. Obviously I knew it wasn't going to affect my lashes quite like putting on inch-long falsies would, but I decided to give it a try anyway.

I was sorely disappointed. What a waste of money. It literally did nothing. NOTHING. My lashes are already black, so it couldn't even work as a colour depositor. It didn't lengthen, separate, curl or whatever. You name it, it didn't do it. I suppose the only good thing you could say about it was that it didn't clump, but why would I even bother using it when it's such a shoddy product? Thumbs way down.

In true ChickAdvisor addict fashion, I had to try out this mascara after reading recent rave reviews. I am pleased to say that I am jumping in the bandwagon. I love this mascara. It always goes on clump free. It gives me long, defined lashes that still looks natural. It gives the illusion that you're born with mile long batty lashes.

One thing that I look for in mascara is how easy I can take it off. This slides off easily with my make-up remover. It has pretty decent staying power on your lashes though; smudging throughout the day is very minimal.

I reach for this mascara on "natural days", but for more drama, I will still go with my L'Oreal Voluminous.

This mascara is great if you want your eyelashes to look as long as they can (if prefer the thicker look, rather than the extreme length, this may not be the best choice). It's great because the little comb helps you really sculpt your eyelashes how you want them, and if you press a little near the root of the lashes before sweeping it up, you don't even need a curler.I also find that several quick strokes over and over really makes them look super long. I love it.

Fantastic! In my last mascara purchase I wasn't satisfied with the product at all so this time I decided to try something different. This Rimmel Maxxxx Effect mascara is fantastic. I think it might just be the work of the different applicator brush but, it really does define and separate your lashes! It makes your eyes pop! I haven't had any clumping and I find it soft on my eye lashes. I can also comment that it is gentle on sensitive eyes, so no need to worry there! It also comes off very easily with make up remover which is fantastic because not all mascaras are like that. Definitely worth every penny I spent on it!

I have to agree with the other reviewers, this mascara is really fantastic. I picked one up because I wanted to test it for myself a couple of weeks ago. Instead of a traditional wand, it has a comb at the end, which is great for preventing your lashes from clumping. It makes my eyelashes very long yet reasonably natural looking.

One thing I always judge a mascara on is if it makes my lashes crunchy. This one is sort of in between. They feel very light but a little dry. That is my only complaint. I'd like if there were more conditioners like L'Oreal has so it feels a bit softer. It washes off easily, doesn't flake or clump. I can't comment on sensitivity because my eyes aren't very sensitive. This mascara will give you comparable results to Benefit's BADgal mascara but for less than half the price.

I'll definitely buy this mascara again.

This mascara is great! You get definition of every lash, volume and a lot of length with no clumping! One of my new faves for sure.

I am a little bit spoiled about Eyelash Mascara. I never go for anything else than High End products like my favorite: Estee Lauder Magnificent $19.00, that for me is the BEST.

But after reading reviews all over the place ( Magazines, websites, etc.) about Rimmel London Mascaras, i give a try, because for such a little price worth a try, and worst scenario could just lose $5.00. Well, i am surprised ....!

Lash Maxxx 3x Lash Multiplying Effect Mascara from Rimmel London is very good for the price and quality. The key is the brush that come with the mascara: "Lash Maxxx Zero Clump Applicator". The shape is like a little comb and you can apply the Mascara to the outer conner of your eyelashes. It perfectly separates, build, enhances and elongate your eyelashes very nicely, then use Shu Uemura Curler and VOILA ! you will have Gorgeous Lashes, like feathery wings. The main thing for me about this Mascara is that you can brush every single lash and the corner eyelashes goes to the sides, in a perfect, natural way.
The only con for me is the texture. Just a little bit... Even that no clumps is a plus for this mascara, i feel my lashes very heavy, and harder, in comparison to a High End product like my Estee Lauder Magnificent Mascara that gives you clump free, dark, volumized eyelashes, but very light and it doesn't make you feel that your eyelashes are covered by cement.

So, i recommend this mascara if you want to save money without sacrificing quality, is a good Deal. About the advertising, it is true. Read below:

Get that bit XXX-tra with Rimmel London's new Lash MAXXX Mascara. Incredible 3x lash multiplication conjures up the longest, fullest and sexiest lashes ever! The precise super-fine wand gives you extra control over how you style your lashes, separating and maximising, leaving you with ultra-feminine eyes to die for. Gorgeous lashes.
