These vegetable spring rolls are tasty and a great addition to any party menu or as part of a meal. The taste is flavourful and with the addition of a sweet, plum dipping sauce, it's hard to eat just one. I was surprised that it only contained veggies since the filling's texture did taste like it contained meat. The size of each spring roll is very generous. They are meant to be baked, however I kept them in a few minutes longer than the recommended time in order to get them to be crispy. They are free of MSG, preservatives and trans fats, making them a wiser choice, however, since they are still a processed food, they should be eaten in moderation. Good product overall.
The instructions say to preheat oven at 325F for bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy. I found the heat needs to be more. It took 40 minutes with the box instructions. They were cooked, but only the ends were crispy. I found with the plum sauce made the rolls taste much better then alone.
