Good product, could be better

I recently had the opportunity to try out the AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser, and it's safe to say that it left a lasting impression. This product offers a unique combination of benefits that cater to specific skincare needs, but it's not without its quirks.
Let's start with the positives. One of the standout features of this cleanser is the incredible hydration it provides. After a long day and makeup removal, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my face felt remarkably moisturized. The inclusion of nourishing oats in the formula seems to work wonders in locking in moisture, leaving my skin feeling soft and supple.
However, it's worth mentioning that an aspect that caught me off guard was the texture of the cleanser. I had expected a more traditional foam-like consistency, but it leaned more towards a gel or cream. While it didn't lather up as much as I anticipated, it did glide smoothly across my skin, making it easy to apply evenly. Despite the initial surprise, I found the texture to be pleasant, especially given the hydration it delivered.
In summary, the AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser is a great product, albeit with a few caveats. It excels in providing hydration and leaves your skin feeling remarkably smooth. However, it may not be the best choice for those seeking a deep cleansing experience, especially if you wear makeup regularly. Additionally, the unexpected gel-like texture might take some getting used to, but it ultimately offers a unique and enjoyable application process. It's worth considering if you prioritize hydration and smooth skin but be prepared to complement it with a dedicated makeup remover for a thorough clean.

Great non-foaming cleanser for sensitive skin!

I’ve been using Aveeno products for over 15 years now and was really excited to give this one a try! Now, normally I prefer a foaming cleanser bc they tend to “feel cleaner” BUT this gel cleanser was SO nice! My face felt both clean yet not overly stripped and dry afterwards. Definitely works as a daily cleanser. The refill pouch means this will last me quite a while.

Very healing

I have eczema and cannot use most moisturizer/cleanser as they irritates my skin. This Aveeno one however, reduced the overall redness and calmed my skin!

Our sensitive skin loves it!

Aveeno products are always kind to my family's sensitive skin but this oatmeal stuff is next level! My kids have had raw skin after a bout of pink eye and this cleanser was gentle and moisturizing.

Gentle and Effective Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin

The Aveeno Calm and Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser is a great balance for my oily, acne prone skin. I like to use gentle products as I use harsher topicals for acne so this is a perfect cleanser. The mild scent is good as well!

Clean and soft skin!!

Honestly, I have such a hard time using face cleansers because they usually irritate my skin or make my skin incredibly dry. However, this cleanser keeps my face clean, helps reduce my oiliness and my acne, and keeps my skin hydrated. 10/10 will purchase this product once I'm out of the sample!

smooth like butter

I really liked this product ngl first couple days using it I broke out very hard 😅, I continued and ot got better so I think that's a good sign for the actual cleaning properties ... it did burn my open acne which was weird to me I thought it was a sensitive skin type care product so I didn't expect that I would continue to use it if It was readily available at my local grocery

Not for me

It smelt great! It felt great for the first 15 minutes after washing my face and then my skin was extremely dry and itchy so this one was a no for me.

Amazing and fresh

I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family. It felt so amazing right from the first time I applied it on me. It felt so refreshing and works great!

Aveeno Face Wash

Pleasantly surprised by this face wash! My skin is extremely sensitive and does not react well to many face products. This wash felt great on my skin, it took off makeup and cleansed well. I will be purchasing this again. 100% recommend for a staple cleanser, must have!
