Effective!

I was really skeptical at first when I received the product. It really is a balm and looks/feels like petroleum jelly. That being said, it works! So if you can get past the texture and the stickiness, it's worth it!!

Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm

Thanks Chick Advisor for letting me try the Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm. This is a great product. I tried this along with my kids. My kids have sensitive, eczema prone skin which worsens in the dry winter months. I used this on their face and all over their body. It is a bit thick to apply but absorbs well and gives pretty good results. I find its better to apply this right after a shower or at night for best absorption. This is a great product and anyone suffering from eczema or dry itchy skin should definitely give it a try.

Good for instant relief

I was lucky enough to try this product free through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Living in Northern Ontario, Canada me and my family suffer from very dry skin in the winter months. This was the perfect time to see this product in action. It deffinately lives up to its name as an "Itch Relief Balm" as it provided instant relief on the dry itchy patches of skin. The thick consistency of the product allows a little to go a long way which is an added value. I love that it is scent free and hypoallergenic as my son's skin is very sensitive so it was safe to use on his skin. I did find that it leaves skin sticky which I was not crazy about. I am not seeing long term relief or improvement in the eczema with this product. It needed to be reapplied often to show a slight difference, where other creams have shown a drastic improvement after a single application. We will continue to use it to see if longer use improves the eczema or just continues to keep it at bay.

Very Nice thick cream, but....

I received my cream complimentary to try and wanted to try it for at least 2 weeks on my eczema and pilaris(bumps on upper arms). I found that this cream was very different than what is out there on the market for sure, it has an incredibly thick texture and this does make it very moisturizing but also quite sticky. It has no odour, so good for those who have an aversion to perfum-y smelling creams. In terms of effectiveness I found it was just ok for both eczema and pilaris, it does take away itch, but I wished it would have worked a bit better on long term effects, maybe it needs to be used for a longer period to see great results. I will keep using it and recommend it to everyone anyway because this cream is pretty original and everyone should have it in their cupboard for times when you might need an extra extra moisturizing cream(good for dry elbows and knees for sure).

Quick and Soothing Relief

I have dry, patchy eczema on my arms and legs. Using Aveeno Eczema Care the very first time provided instant relief from the dryness, and most importantly the itching. Some other creams actually make me itchier when appkied, so this was amazing for me. Not having itchy skin allowed patches to heal pretty quickly, which is rather hard in the winter anyways. With continued use, my skin was staying soft and hydrated. I also love that it is fragrance free. No new signs of trouble anywhere! I highly recommend this balm and will most definitely be purchasing it as soon as this tub runs out. Thanks to Chick Advisor for this very valuable complimentary trial for me to review.

Cette crème est riche et apaise la peau sèche et l’eczéma. Les démangeaisons ont nettement diminuées après quelques applications . Je vous la recommande.

Saving my hands one dab at a time~!

This winter has been especially hard on my skin, especially my hands! I have been suffering the last few weeks with dry cracked hands and have had no relief in sight. That is until i had the pleasure of reviewing Aveeno Eczema Care as part of the ChickAdvisor program. This lotion is so thick and creamy! It completely covers my hands and works to penetrate the eczema, Thereby helping to provide me with relief! The cream is not greasy and is hypoallergenic.
My hands have improved drastically since i have started using this cream. I also appreciate that this cream is scent free and natural! I can see why it received the Eczema society of Canada seal and is recommended by Dermatologists! For what it is worth i also recommend this cream too as it works~!

Le soin de l'eczéma AVEENO® me rend simplement sans le mot! Je n'en reviens toujours pas, il est miraculeux!

En toute honnêteté, le soin de l'eczéma AVEENO® n'aurais probablement pas fait parti de mes choix d'achat, bien que j'utilise quotidiennement d'autre produit de cette marque. Ce n'est pas parceque le produit n'est pas attrayant ou parcequ'il est trop cher, au contraire! C'est parcequ'au courrant de mon parcours de lutte contre l'eczéma au fil des ans, j'ai dû essayer au moins une cinquantaine (si ce n'est pas plus) de crèmes différentes. Les crèmes en pharmacie ne fonctionnaient pas, ceux prescritent par un médecin général non plus, j'ai même été jusqu'à consulter un dermatologue privé mais toujours sans succès. Donc en bout de ligne, plusieurs centaines de dollars ainsi que mes espoirs ont fini aux poubelles!

Je remerci infiniment ChickAdvisor ainsi que AVEENO® pour m'avoir donner la chance de faire parti du banc d'essaie du soin pour l'eczéma AVEENO® qu'ils m'ont envoyé totalement GRATUITEMENT. Si je n'avais pas été choisie, je n'aurais jamais connu ce produit miraculeux. Je n'en reviens toujours pas. Dès la première application, en moins de 24h les effets d'appaisement ainsi qu'une peau plus lisse se faisait déjà ressentir. Deux semaines plus tard, mon eczéma était pratiquement déjà complètement disparue! Non mais qui l'eût cru! Certainement pas moi! C'est génial je ne me suis jamais senti si bien dans ma peau par ce temps ci de l'année. Fini les crèmes à 100$ qui ne fontionnent pas, je peux maitenant jouir de la saison au faible prix de 19,99$ à 29,99$. Le soin pour l'eczéma AVEENO® est maintenant un incontournable à ma vie! It works!!!!!

I received the Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm for free as part of the PRC Chick Advisor. I have been suffering from eczema for years and I have never found anything that really worked until I tried this product. This balm has worked wonders in healing my Eczema and saw results pretty quickly. The Balm is quite thick but goes on skin very smooth and what I love Best is the light scent of oatmeal. I would definitely recommend this balm for people, like myself, who suffer from eczema and feel Itchy. The price is slightly more expensive at around $20-29.99 but so very worth it if it’s healing and stopping the itch. Thank you for such an amazing balm.

Worked well

I got to try this product free through the product review club. I love Aveeno products and was really excited to try this itch relief balm. I can say that it worked very well. It took the itchy/burning feeling away almost instantly! The only thing I didn’t care for was the greasy residual feeling after I applied it.
