I received Beauty By Earth’s Detangling Bamboo Hair Brush. When I unpackaged my brush I was disappointed to see that two of the bristles on my brush were bent out of shape. Otherwise, the brush seemed to be in good condition.

This brush had a nice smooth wooden bamboo handle. The handle was comfortable to hold. It had a standard brush head with plastic bristles with small ball end points, and a cushioned flexible base. Other than the wooden bamboo handle, this brush seems like any other brush. I thought perhaps the bristles would be special somehow since the brush is listed specifically as a “detangling” brush, but its bristles were standard like all other brushes I have owned in the past. The brush worked like a standard brush. At the time of writing this review, the retail price of this brush is listed at $17.99. In my opinion, this is a little bit expensive for a standard brush – like I mentioned it has no fancy detangling powers.

The company included some helpful tips on the packaging regarding the best methods for using this brush to detangle hair, and care and maintenance instructions for the brush.

Overall, I like this brush however I would be hesitant to buy it again based on the current list price.
