I love that I can use only one coat of mascara and the job is done. It looks perfect with two coats tho.
In a perfect world, I’d be blessed with perfectly long and naturally curled lashes but sadly they’re not. For years I’ve battled the quest to find the perfect mascara that would hold the curl for my super straight lashes however I was often disappointed because everything I tried continued to weigh them down. Luckily I found something new and I’m convinced that my journey is over because Benefit’s just launched a new mascara that is just too good to be true.
Roller Lash is designed to lift each individual lash while giving you that eye opening affect. The mascara is designed for all types of lashes; especially you ladies with those straight and stubborn lashes that refuse to hold a curl. Additionally the brush is designed to separate and curl each eyelash while the tube was created to distribute the right amount of product each time.
I’m obsessed with this new mascara because it gives me the perfectly curled lash without a curler! If you decide to toss the curler, feel free to pair Roller Lash with another type of mascara. Just be sure to use Roller Lash as your base to get that eye opening effect.
I got the travel size of this mascara since the full size is kinda pricey but the packaging is super cute and it does do its job! You're able to get curls, length, and volume without having to use an eyelash curler. It takes a while for it to dry which is a downside, but gives you a nice finish. It doesn't clump even when you build it up or add another mascara on top. If you're looking to try a high-end mascara then i recommend this one!
This brush and the synthetic bristles are a lot more gentle than Benefit's they're real, but still holds up the curl without clumping. Also, does not seem to smudge and removes very easily.
I decided to try this product a few months ago after my eyelashes insisted on falling straight with my old mascara, even despite my efforts with my lash curler. This mascara quickly became a staple in my makeup bag! II still like to use my curler with this mascara, even though it advertises that this step unnecessary, but I find the curl stays all day. It also lengthens my lashes to new heights! The one thing I find it falls short on is volumizing, but then again, this is not a trait Benefit claims about this product. I definitely recommend this product and will continue to repurchase!
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara;
Received as a gift from Sephora.
Great mascara!!
My eyes popped.
Mascara stayed put on my eyes, each lash was nicely separated and extended.
The mascara did not clump up.
Brush was smooth and easy to use
I had heard about this through other reviews and was thinking of trying it if I happened to have some extra optimum points at SDM. I happened on a sample size at Sephora and decided to give it a go. I don't use a lash curler, I have somewhat curled lashes as it is but I use mascara every day. I tried the sample and was SO surprised. It felt like it was curling my lashes as I watched. I did one eye and thought, I must be imagining this. So then I compared the two eyes and was definitely sold. It's now my go-to. I find it not clumpy, it's nice and light or can be built up, I just love it.
Holdup! Whoa! This mascara is Amazing! The lift! The length! The Volume! No eyelash curler needed for the same effect and affect! Oh My Gosh! I just put it on and I was amazed, this is my new love!
I'll update later on about wash off and wear, but as long as it wears well I won't care about the wash off after math as this mascara gives me so much payoff right from application
I love this. I highly recommend trying it. I first received this in a subscription box and fell in love. Only down fall is it can be difficult to wash off.
Let me start off by saying that I've never been a drugstore makeup user (blame my mom), so to me, Benefit products seem like really good value. That said, if you're firmly in the "why spend money on something you're going to throw out in 3 months" camp - fair dues, I can totally see your point.
Roller Lash is quite possibly my favourite mascara ever. I was wary of using a curling mascara after trying Dior's version earlier this year. It didn't blow me away, and honestly, the curved brush just seemed baffling. I couldn't create results that really differed from using a normal brush, no matter how I twisted or turned the thing.
Not the case with Roller Lash. After a few tries, this mascara gave me the longest, curliest lashes I've ever had without extensions. I'm not a big fan of the spidery look, so it's important to find a formula that looks "clean" or somewhat natural. This is it. You can continue rolling the brush through your lashes to really build that curl, and often you don't even need to comb through to separate them after - though this will depend on how old the formula is.
So, the formula: like most mascaras, it does have a sweet spot. The first few applications might be a little more liquid than most of us prefer, and towards the end of its three months, it does get a little too sticky for me. This seems like the number one reason you might want to go for a cheaper (but equally awesome) drugstore mascara. But if you're curious about Roller Lash and willing to invest a little more, it's definitely worth a try. For the first time, I'll be re-purchasing instead of trying something new.
