Blistex Fruit Smoothies.

This lipchap made my lips really red and burnt I wouldn't reccomend this product to anyone especially if you can't use SPF 15, if you can then I would reccomend it, they also come in a few different amazing scents.

These are not that good

To start, the smell of these is kind of repulsing, super artificial. So that already makes me not want to apply it to my lips. But once I got past that and tried these out, they were very ineffective. They did not moisturize or sooth my lips at all, if anything they added a creamy layer that was gone within half an hour. They are really cakey, not smooth. Definitely would try something else out and bypass this product.

I'm generally a huge fan of blistex lip chaps as they are really moisturizing and have spf protection, however I was really disappointed with the fruit smoothies! Though they smell incredible (and taste quite nice as well), they don't last long on the lips! After using this product for a couple of weeks, I found myself reaching for reapplications almost twice as much as I normally would. Rather than hydrate my lips, it seems to be making them more dry!

I have used other Blistex products and found them to be effective, so I figured I'd try the fruit flavoured ones, hoping to get something effective, and tasty.
They taste alright initially, but it's far from the best flavour out there, and it leaves an after-taste of waxy play-dough.
Aside from that, I find that it actually dries out my lips, it gives an instant relief, but after about a minute or two my lips feel dry under the heavy, waxy feeling, layer of disappointment and regret.
The price is average for lip balm, but it's definitely not worth the quality of the product.

If you're stuck and this is all you can find, it's worth getting just to last you until you get home, but be aware that you will have to reapply every few minutes. If you can find anything else at all, including just a tub of Vaseline, get that instead, at least it can be used later for other things.

Love the scents but these do not moisturize the lips at all.

I've had few of these kicking around for awhile, only because unlike my other lip products I NEVER USE THESE ONES. I find that for the Blistex brand, this product was a bit of a misstep. The smells and flavours are nice, but they leave a waxy residue that sits on the lips, as opposed to moisturizing the lips. You might as well use Vaseline for the good that does you. It's better than nothing and doesn't damage, but it's the last thing I would ever reach for.

If your lips are really chapped this product actually is an irritant. Don't find it relieves dryness at all. Taste is initally nice but then gets a bit sickening/too much.

I honestly bought this product because I liked the sound of the flavours it had and it's cute, mini size compared to the regular-sized lip balms on the market. But when I tired them it did not go on smoothly nor did it last very long on my lips. The scents were not bad but that's the only upside I can think of at the moment.
