Solid sunscreen!

A very solid, standard sunscreen! It didn't sting on my skin, which gets very sensitive after shaving. The product sprayed evenly and absorbed very well. It's a bit pricier than my usual generic brand, so I might not purchase this instead in the future but it did a good job at providing protection from the sun and not leaving a residue!

Easy to carry and spraying mechanism is amazing!

This Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Spray Sunscreen was sent to be as a gift and this sunscreen spray is definitely in my required range of SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection. I am an absolute fan of the easy-to-apply spraying mechanism that dries clear and is enriched with skin-nourishing also it helps that this product is Vegan and made without Oxybenzone or Octinoxate making it reef-friendly, and formulated without chemical active ingredients.. Definitely recommend it to my friends.

Product Review: Blue Lizard Sensitive Spray SPF 50 (142g)

I received a free sample of Blue Lizard Sensitive Spray SPF 50 in exchange for my honest product review. Thankfully, due to the extreme hot weather we’ve had, I’ve had ample opportunities to use this. Overall, it’s a solid sunscreen option—especially for those with sensitive skin. It lives up to Blue Lizard’s reputation for gentle, dermatologist-recommended formulations, with no harsh chemical irritants or fragrances, which is a big plus.

One of the standout features is that it’s a spray, which is both a pro and a con. On the upside, the spray application means you don’t have to get your hands all greasy or deal with rubbing thick lotion into your skin. It’s quick, convenient, and ideal for on-the-go use—especially at the beach or during outdoor activities.

However, the spray format can also be a drawback. It’s easy to miss spots, especially in hard-to-reach areas like your back or the backs of your legs. Unless someone else is helping you apply it, you might end up with uneven coverage, which is not ideal for sun protection. Additionally, if it’s windy, a good portion of the product can go into the air rather than onto your skin, which feels wasteful.

In terms of performance, though, it offers strong SPF 50 protection, holds up well with water resistance, and doesn’t leave a greasy or sticky residue. It’s a good choice for people with skin sensitivities who prefer a mineral-based sunscreen.

A Lifesaver for Sensitive Skin

I absolutely love Blue Lizard Sunscreen – Sensitive! As someone with very reactive, fair skin, I’ve struggled for years to find a sunscreen that doesn’t cause breakouts, redness, or that greasy feeling. This one checks every box.

Over all a good product

Overall a good product. I like how it goes on white so you can see where you applied it. I dislike that it's unscented as I like the smell of most sunscreens. I usually get sunburn but when wearing this sunscreen I did not burn just a nice tan.

Great Spray Sunscreen

This sunscreen leaves your skin shiny and Moisturized. It needs a little more time to absorb into your skin and Once it does it leaves no white cast. The spray can is good for those hard to reach areas like your back.

Great coverage and lasting effect

This came in just in time! My husband started a new job as a dump truck driver and as a ginger of course needed sunscreen. It’s like a sprayable lotion and applies so nicely but you are able to see your coverage. The sensitive formula was helpful on all skin types and was light on the fragrance. Will recommend to friends and family

Good sunscreen that isn’t too greasy

I really like this sunscreen! It has a faint smell, sort of earthy, but not offensive or strong. The packaging is an attractive matte teal colour. I like the spray mechanism—it means that I don’t accidentally over-apply—but I wish that the mist wasn’t so fine, and that it provided more coverage. I felt like I had to keep spraying and spraying to get enough product on my arms for even coverage. It does feel a bit greasy on the skin but it absorbs quicker than a lot of other sunscreens that I’ve tried. I like that it is safe for sensitive skin!
