    Not clean ingredients

I was excited to try an aerosol mineral sunscreen as I haven't heard of one before and thought it was a great inventive idea! I much rpefer mineral sunscreen because my sensitive skin reacts poorly to chemical sunscreen. I am happy that I did not have any bad skin reactions from this product and it did seem to work well and perform as intended. I am however very disappointed by the ingredient list which includes known pollutants and unclean ingredients that research also suggests may be potential endocrine disruptors. For a supposedly reef safe mineral sunscreen this was very disappointing. I want a sunscreen that is healthy for me and healthy for the planet. It contains hydrogenated polydecene, and the production of this ingredient has a significant negative environmental impact. It also contains butyloctyl salicylate which is a synthetic UV filter that can be toxic to marine life. Lastly, this product contains tetrafluoropropene which is a PFAS, or "forever chemical" which can linger in the human body and the environment for an extremely long time. I would not consider this product to be nontoxic, clean, responsibly made, reef safe, nor sustainable in any way. Very disappointing.

Wrong packaging for this mineral product!

I received this free product to review and followed the instructions. Sadly I can't recommend purchasing this product for 2 main reasons:
    1) MASSIVE wastage when half is going in the air, not on your skin (advice for any spray sunscreen: HOLD YOU BREATH WHILE YOU SPRAY as you do not want these fine particles to enter your lungs)
    2) Very uneven application with white patches. I think spray form works for chemical sunscreens but not mineral sunscreens!
    3) The product itself is so incredibly oily, I did not even want to sit in my car after application.

Can was defective after one use

After really enjoying the SPF 50 mineral cream I had high expectations for the spray. I was disappointed at the performance of the new spray formula , not only did it not protect the skin it only sprayed 3-4 times ( during one application ) then the cap was twisted close and then it wouldn’t spray again so the family and I weren’t able to try more but my brother who I applied the product too after following directions still got a burn.
I applied it graciously aftee shaking the bottle and shaking during application, i then rubbed it in until it was clear.it was also applied to clean dry skin prior to sun exposure. We really took the application proceed serious as we used the child formula on his daughter and some kids from her daycare and the all were sunburnt. I was embarrassed I had given them a product that didn’t protect the kids so wasn’t too surprised this formula didn’t protect him either. ( however the cream formula works great )

Convenient Spray, But Too Much Waste

First impressions, not a fan. While I like the idea of a spray sunscreen for convenience, this one just didn’t work for me. It feels like a lot of the product gets lost in the air rather than actually making it onto your skin, which feels wasteful. The texture left a sticky feeling that I didn’t enjoy, and it didn’t absorb as nicely as I’d hoped.

On the positive side, it’s great for sensitive skin and has no overpowering scent, which I appreciate. But overall, the experience wasn’t great and I probably wouldn’t purchase it again. The convenience of a spray just doesn’t outweigh the downsides for this one.

    Blue Lizard 50 Sensitive

I have never really used sunscreen before, I know, in this day and age we need to be protected. This brand is also new to me but I gave it a go. I used the spray on my arms first trying to get at the right angle. The sunscreen went on in a nice layer. I went to rub it in and found it to be slightly greasy to the touch even after 5 minutes. When it dried completely, around 8-10 minutes the skin felt very soft. So now that I was prepared I went on my way outside for a walk. I can't totally say for sure but I felt on that hour walk that my skin felt protected, I didn't feel like my skin was burning like when I usually go out wearing no sunscreen. This sunscreen has possibilities.
