It’s effective and I like the spray
It’s a little thick when you first apply it but it is great skin protection …I feel confident going outside and being protected from the sun and the harmful uv rays ….
Great sunscreen!
Great, easy application to use sunscreen, just spray and it’s on. Not oily, great protection against UV rays. I like that it has organic aloe in it. Easy directions and warning labels on there.
Definitely a good product
Worked great for sensitive skin! The SPF 50 protection is strong, and I like that it’s fragrance-free. The spray makes it easy to apply, but the formula is on the thicker side and leaves a bit of white residue that takes some rubbing in. Not really the lightest sunscreen out there, but worth it for the reliable protection.
Love this product
I am using it daily really like the texture and formula . It doesn’t have any smell . It doesn’t have any white cast. Highly recommended. Will buy this product again
Great Sunscreen pr sensitive skin!
I loved to try the Blue Lizard sensitive mineral SPF 50 spray. It’s effective and hydrating also! There’s a light white cast when I sprayed it so I had to spread it a bit with my hands. My skin didn’t have any bad reaction to it. It’s a bit greasy just after applying it but on dry skin it gives a great hydration after absorbing! I’ll purchase it again for sure and recommend it! I received this product for free by Butterly & Blue Lizard in exchange of my honest review.
Easy application
As a pale sunscreen enthusiast, I was excited to try Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Spray Sunscreen.
The spray makes application easy. It does have an initial white cast upon application, but it disappears when rubbed into the skin. It sprays on very lightweight and dries fairly quickly. It doesn't have your typical sunscreen smell, infact it's hardly noticable at all. When applying to my face I sprayed the product on to my hands first, then rubbed it on to my face. I experienced no irritations or eye stinging like I do from some other sunscreens.
Being that is water resistant this would be great for a beach day. The spray makes reapplication a breeze.
Spray-it, Slay-it
I have recently tried this Blue Lizard sunscreen spray for myself. Its easy to apply, leaves no white cast. The only thing I felt is even though the spray rubs in easily but the hand with which you rub it in feels too oily and shiny afterwards. However on the arm the shiny and oily feeling disappears after couple minutes. I like that its a mineral sunscreen that too in spray form because sometimes mineral sunscreens are too tough to rub in but with this I am quick in spraying it and leaving for the day. Would recommend to all.
Great sun protectiom

Review:
I’ve been using the Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 and honestly, it’s become a go-to for me. I have pretty sensitive skin, and this one doesn’t sting or break me out at all.
It does go on a little thick at first (like most mineral sunscreens), but if you take your time blending it in, the white cast is minimal. I actually like that it feels like it’s on, makes me feel protected, especially on sunny days.
Plus, the cap turns blue in the sun, which is kinda fun and a good reminder to reapply.
No strong smell, no greasy feeling, and it holds up really well outdoors. Super reliable and great if you’re looking for something gentle but effective!
Great sunscreen with more eco friendly packaging?
Butterly and Blue Lizard teamed up to send a lucky few their Blue Lizard Mineral SPF 50 Spray, one for sensitive skin and the other for kids.
Both sprays are, to me, quite similar, and they are quite similar to other SPF sprays that I have used. I do like the company's environmental efforts. I also like that it belongs to Crown Laboratories (CL), but now that I am writing this review, I realise that it's more that CL isn't one of the big (not that nice) corps that I know about, not that I have done my due diligence and look CL up.
The thing with spray SPF is that a lot seems wasted, and the containers finish more quickly than SPF in lotion form. Ultimately, it costs more, so if a lotion formula works, your wallet will appreciate you sticking to it. I type this keeping in mind that I got a Blue Lizard sunscreen in lotion form last year from Butterly and I loved it.
That being said, spray SPF is much more practical on the go, when we need to reapply SPF. But the biggest consideration for me is the tentalizing possibility that the cans, which seem to be made out of aluminium, can be recycled, since the lotion bottles cannot be recycled. I don't see a recycling symbols on the bottles that I have, so I emailed the company to ask. When I get their answer, I'll do a little more digging -- if you or someone you know is an recycling expert or nerd, I'd appreciate picking your brain!
Solid sunscreen!
A very solid, standard sunscreen! It didn't sting on my skin, which gets very sensitive after shaving. The product sprayed evenly and absorbed very well. It's a bit pricier than my usual generic brand, so I might not purchase this instead in the future but it did a good job at providing protection from the sun and not leaving a residue!
