A trusted sunscreen for the summer

We were so excited to try Blue Lizards Sensitive Spray! With SPF 50 I felt confident using it on my littles and I was pleasantly surprised that it was so effective while being gentle. Both of my children have sensitive skin so this was literally the perfect product for them! I was impressed that the sunscreen sprayed out in a decently thick layer and it wasn’t “shiny” like some other sunscreen sprays. It was very easy to rub and absorbed quick which made for a speedy, yet effective, sunscreen application! My daughter did note that she didn’t love the smell but IT WORKED, and that’s all that matters to this mama! Whether applied for sunny fun in the backyard or before school and daycare drop off, my kids have not suffered a sunburn while protected by Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Spray! We are excited for a new summer staple for our outdoor fun!

I definitely like it

Spray formula - that what I like in this product. It’s easy to use, fast to apply and it’s easy to share. The formula and texture of product is really good, but it has some things which makes using not as comfortable. Like oversprays around me in bathroom or bedroom, need to use it outside only so that how I will not leave stains around. And also extra gloss on my skin which I prefer to stay more matte or satin. But I forgive all of this just because it’s Australian made formula and it’s a spray. The product works really high quality, skin is not sweaty under it and dust, sand or water is not ruining that sunscreen barrier.

Perfect spray on sunscreen

Blue lizard sensitive mineral spray sunscreen had me confidently in the sun knowing my skin was protected. Went ALL day in the sun at the zoo and not even close to a burn. The application process is so easy and I love that it’s spray on. It doesn’t show white on your skin and as someone of colour that is wonderful. Blends right in. They also have the sunscreen for kids! Overall the convince of this spray is amazing and the results are even better. If you want something to stay completely protected from the sun with, blue lizard sunscreen is definitely a right pick.

No White Cast, No Irritation

This sunscreen spray is super easy to use — just shake, spray, and rub in. It dries clear, so no annoying white residue, which I really appreciate. My sensitive skin hasn’t had any irritation, and the aloe in it feels calming and smooth, not sticky or greasy. I wear it daily and it feels lightweight while still protecting well. I also like that it’s reef-friendly and doesn’t have any harsh chemical ingredients. Definitely a winner for sensitive skin!

Nice Mineral Sunscreen

This is a great mineral sunscreen! It sprays very nicely and evenly, and twists to lock/open very easily. I felt comfortable using it on my two young children, and it did a great job protecting their skin.

The only downsides were the smell and the white cast it left. However, both of these things are complaints I have about mineral sunscreen in general, and are not the fault of the brand.

Sunscreen, yes please!

Sunscreen is an absolute must in my skincare regimen, a must!

I wear sunscreen everyday, a 50 SPF, everyday. Then if I am going to be outside for any length of time, sunscreen goes on everywhere, followed by a hat, and sunglasses.

I am always on the hunt for great sunscreen, wears well, easy to apply, doesn’t leave me feeling gross like there is something there. Needless to say, I was thrilled to have Butterly and Blue Lizard send along this 50 SPF sensitive mineral sunscreen to try for free.

Originating in Australia, Blue Lizard has been around for nearly 30 years. They formulate their sunscreen for sensitive skin, with no parabens, phthalates, fragrance, or chemical active ingredients. And on top of that it is also reef safe, which is extremely important for the environment!

This spray version is extremely easy to use with an excellent feature that allows you to open and close off the spray nozzle. I love this feature as it helps to protect the product from going off in a bag and making a mess, and on top of that you can operate it with one hand, making it very easy to use. The spray is strong and distributes well along the target area. It then rubs and soaks in with ease to ensure all skin is covered.

I was pleased with the feel of the sunscreen on my skin, no residue, no stickiness, nothing. Which is perfect to allow me to carry on with my day without picking up random fluffs or dirt (when doing yard work) that stick to the sunscreen. The sun protection was perfect as well, it did its job and kept me from getting burnt! The only downside that I found was that it did leave a bit of a scent on the skin, a bit sharp in nature, not overbearing but enough that it was unfortunate. This could just be a body chemistry reaction type of thing and may not be the same for everyone.

Overall, I am a fan of a good sunscreen and this one is pretty great.

Loving the Mineral Mist

Tried the @bluelizardsunscreen.ca Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen Spray SPF 50+ and here’s the verdict:
🌿 Super gentle on my sensitive skin (no sting, no drama)
💦 Lightweight + water resistant — love it for outdoor days
☁️ Needs a little rubbing in, but blends pretty well
⚠️ Spray nozzle could be better, so store upright!

Lightweight sunscreen for all

Firstly, I have never tried a mineral sunscreen before so I was a bit skeptical. We took it with on a weekend trip with the family and used it every day. Its lightweight with a matte appearance. The sunscreen feels like it goes directly into your skin. No more oily skin. The canister also has a great locking system. I

Great Product!

The packaging is amazing, love the blue which is catchy! The sunscreen glided on easily and absorbed into the skin! It was gentle on the skin and no side effects.

Interesting discovery

I like the texture of the product, the ease of application and the speed of absorption by the skin. It's a good alternative for people with sensitive skin.
