Perfect for the summer months

I got this just on time for the summer. I used it locally (here in Toronto) and in Miami when I went there a couple of weeks ago and was at the beach daily for the long weekend. I reapplied every 2 hours and it felt to me like it lasted the entire 2 hours, even in the salty water. It was also very easy to apply on the body and the face (spray on hands and pat on the face). I also liked the scnet - was not strong at all!

Easy to apply

I really enjoyed how easy this was to apply compared to traditional sunscreen. It sprays out white so you can see where you’ve applied it and then it dries clear, and doesn’t have that super greasy feeling on the skin. It’s reef friendly & is free of Oxybenzone or Octinoxate and is also suitable for sensitive skin. It provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. I was on the beach for several hours & reapplied throughout the day and did not burn at all.

Very good for sensitive skin

I used the BLUE LIZARD Sensitive Spray SPF 50 on myself and my kids and it worked very well. The spray goes on evenly, feels light on the skin, and didn’t cause any irritation. I have sensitive skin and had no issues. Nice that it’s fragrance-free and water-resistant too. Good option for quick, easy sun protection.

Love the spraybottle without the white cast

The thing that stood out to me about this sunscreen is that it had the convenience of a spray bottle and also didn’t leave any white cast. It got absorbed into the skin very well too! The colour changing cap is also a cool feature.

Buttery hydrated sunscreen

Love using this sunscreen. It's so hydrated and feels like butter on skin. There's no strong fragrance, which is another plus point for my sensitive skin. Definitely wanna try another face sunscreen from blue lizard as well.

Convenience can't be beat!

This is a nice sunscreen to use! The convenience of the spray bottle can't be beat and the product absorbs well. Doesn't take too long to rub in after application and once absorbed doesn't leave you feeling greasy which is huge when applying it for every day use. Anything that makes applying sunscreen easier is a win for me!

Amazing

Love the blue lizard sensitive mineral SPF 50 spray! It’s easy to apply, it’s not sticky and drys fast. Has a nice smell and seems to last awhile before needing to reapply.

A great working mineral sunscreen!

I’m all about mineral sunscreens because they’re cleaner and better for the planet. Blue Lizard Sensitive Spray SPF 50 is seriously easy to use - just spray, rub, and go. I’ve worn this both at the pool and on sunny days, and it really holds up to its promise of being sweat and water-resistant for 80 minutes or even more.

What really surprised me was how little white cast it left. I’ve tried other mineral sunscreens that either had me rubbing until my hands were sore (and maybe scrubbing off a layer of skin) or looking like Casper. This one is a bit shiny and leaves a slight residue, but it’s never greasy or sticky. I think it’s perfect for body use, but I wasn’t comfortable - honestly, a little wary of using it on my face. That said, the spray comes with a handy lid lock, which is a nice touch.

Plus, it’s perfect for those “me days” when you’re flying solo, or after an argument with your husband when you’re determined to do everything yourself, including reaching those impossible sunscreen spots. It’s a no-fuss, no-drama mineral sunscreen that I’d happily reach for again.

If you care about clean ingredients and want something easy, effective, and reliable, this is a solid choice. I mostly use it for body coverage during outdoor activities, beach days, or just running errands. It’s not messy, not stinky, and most importantly - it works.

Solid Mineral Sunscreen for Everyday Use

I’ve been using the Blue Lizard Sunscreen SPF 50+, and overall, I really like it. It feels super gentle on my skin—no irritation or breakouts, which is a big win for me. I also love that it’s fragrance-free and reef-safe. The only thing is the white cast; it’s definitely there, especially if I apply too much, but I’ve found that warming it up in my hands first and rubbing it in well helps. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’m well protected, especially on long days outside.

I LOVE this sunscreen

I am very picky about sunscreens especially as I’m getting older and what a) longer protection b) a mineral sunscreen and c) no white cast. This sunscreen hit all 3 points PLUS no scent, so easily absorbed and provides 80 minutes(!) of sun protection. I love this all around, no complaints and I would 100% recommend this to everyone! I love how it’s safe for sensitive skin as I very often break out on my face from sunscreens (and yes I definitely used it on my face!). Run don’t walk to buy it :)
