Nice Mineral Sunscreen

This is a great mineral sunscreen! It sprays very nicely and evenly, and twists to lock/open very easily. I felt comfortable using it on my two young children, and it did a great job protecting their skin.

The only downsides were the smell and the white cast it left. However, both of these things are complaints I have about mineral sunscreen in general, and are not the fault of the brand.

LOVE this product

I love this sunscreen. It is not super oily like a lot of mineral sunscreens. The scent is very minimal, and It blocked the sun from burning my skin. 10/10 recommed!

I’ve been using the Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Spray Sunscreen and honestly, I’m impressed! The texture is super light, it absorbs really quickly, and I love how easy it is to apply especially when I’m in a rush or dealing with kids. It doesn’t leave any white cast or greasy feeling, which is a big plus. I also like that it’s reef-friendly and made without harsh chemicals. It just feels like a sunscreen I can actually trust, especially coming from a brand that’s been around for so long.

C’est la première fois que j’utilisais un écran solaire en spray et cela a été très concluant.

Tout d’abord, j’ai bien aimé la bouteille avec bouchon sécuritaire pour les enfants et l’écran solaire convient très bien à la fois aux enfants et aux adultes qui ont la peau sensible. C’est un écran solaire minéral FPS 50 à large spectre, il se vaporise très bien sur la peau, d’abord sous forme de poudre blanche qui s’étend bien au contact et qui devient plutôt sous forme liquide par la suite. Il convient très bien autant au visage (en le vaporisant d’abord dans nos mains) qu’au reste du corps. Je me suis sentie très bien protégée du soleil et c’est un produit que je vous recommande.

De plus, il est sans Octinoxate et sans Oxybenzone pour la protection des récifs et de nos océans.

The mineral spray you’ve been waiting for

Spray sunscreen has always been my preference for ease of application but I’ve never found a mineral version I liked. This Blue Lizard one has met that need! This applies easily, has a slight white cast that disappears within a few minutes on my fair to medium fair skin and didn’t feel overly greasy or heavy. I would definitely recommend for anyone who prefers a mineral sunscreen.

Sensation de peau nue

La 1e fois que j'en ai mise sur ma peau je me demandais si le produit était sorti de la bouteille puisque j'avais l'impression que ma peau n'avait rien reçu. Ce que j'ai adorée! Aucune sensation d'huile ou de crème difficile a faire pénètrer. Après plusieurs jours a jardiner ma peau n'est jamais devenu rouge "coup de soleil"

Sunscreen, yes please!

Sunscreen is an absolute must in my skincare regimen, a must!

I wear sunscreen everyday, a 50 SPF, everyday. Then if I am going to be outside for any length of time, sunscreen goes on everywhere, followed by a hat, and sunglasses.

I am always on the hunt for great sunscreen, wears well, easy to apply, doesn’t leave me feeling gross like there is something there. Needless to say, I was thrilled to have Butterly and Blue Lizard send along this 50 SPF sensitive mineral sunscreen to try for free.

Originating in Australia, Blue Lizard has been around for nearly 30 years. They formulate their sunscreen for sensitive skin, with no parabens, phthalates, fragrance, or chemical active ingredients. And on top of that it is also reef safe, which is extremely important for the environment!

This spray version is extremely easy to use with an excellent feature that allows you to open and close off the spray nozzle. I love this feature as it helps to protect the product from going off in a bag and making a mess, and on top of that you can operate it with one hand, making it very easy to use. The spray is strong and distributes well along the target area. It then rubs and soaks in with ease to ensure all skin is covered.

I was pleased with the feel of the sunscreen on my skin, no residue, no stickiness, nothing. Which is perfect to allow me to carry on with my day without picking up random fluffs or dirt (when doing yard work) that stick to the sunscreen. The sun protection was perfect as well, it did its job and kept me from getting burnt! The only downside that I found was that it did leave a bit of a scent on the skin, a bit sharp in nature, not overbearing but enough that it was unfortunate. This could just be a body chemistry reaction type of thing and may not be the same for everyone.

Overall, I am a fan of a good sunscreen and this one is pretty great.

Loving the Mineral Mist

Tried the @bluelizardsunscreen.ca Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen Spray SPF 50+ and here’s the verdict:
🌿 Super gentle on my sensitive skin (no sting, no drama)
💦 Lightweight + water resistant — love it for outdoor days
☁️ Needs a little rubbing in, but blends pretty well
⚠️ Spray nozzle could be better, so store upright!

Not greasy!

I love it! It’s non greasy, so you don’t look and feel like your’e drenched in oil. The scent is mild as well, most sunscreen has a distinct chemical scent but with this product, it smells nothing like sunscreen!
