This was my favourite flavour! A very tasty fruit and nut bar. The dark chocolate added nice depth and sweetness, and there was a nice textural balance between the chew of the fruit and the crunch of the nuts. I only wish it were slightly lower in calories.

I am not a fan of pomegranate. I was actually dreading trying this bar because of it. To my surprise, it ended up being my favourite bar!

It has a great texture that is the right mix of chewy and crunchy. The chocolate is subtle and really enhances the fruit flavours, especially the cherry.

I really like this and would definitely buy it again.

I love the Dark Chocolate Covered Fruit Pieces by Brookside so I couldn't wait to try their fruit and nut bars. Although this Cherry and Pomegranate version was good, I prefer the taste of the Blueberry and Acai bar as the cherries are a little too overpowering for my taste. However, I do like the nutritional value of these bars as they have Vitamins A, C and E and are a great source of fiber. They are also Non-GMO, Low Sodium and Gluten Free. I wish that they contained less sugar, but due to the nutritional benefits of this bar, I would definitely choose it over a regular granola bar. The nuts and seeds are also very delicious and I am normally not a huge fan.

I received the 3 Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit and Nut bars from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. The bars are all delicious but the cherry one was my favourite. When I think of a granola bar, I think the Quaker kind (as in, artificial and typically chocolate coated) – don’t worry, these taste nothing like that. I love how they are not too sweet and the dark chocolate dip on the bottom is a nice touch. They have great crunch and are jam packed with nuts and seeds.

It was 11 am. I was starving. It was not yet time for lunch....but I had a Brookside Dark Chocolate Cherry with Pomegranate in front of me. Perfect! I really enjoyed it. It may be a bit sweeter than I had expected (due to the chocolate, of course) but the salty/fruity/sweetness was an excellent combo. The first thing that hit me was the smell of cherry, which was lovely. There was a good crunch to the bar due to the nuts and then a satisfying chewiness. It definitely sated me and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this kind again.

I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of fruit & nut bars, but the cherry with pomegranate fruit & nut bar tasted surprisingly good. It's a unique fruit combination that I haven't seen in other bars before, so I liked that. The calories are a bit high for a bar (180 cal), so I'm not sure I'd eat this on a regular basis unless I skipped a meal. Also, it seems inconvenient to buy these bars individually, although I suppose the price for a box of 6 would be over ten dollars!

This is a great "healthier" version of a chocolate bar, very high quality and filling! I love the mix of fruit, nuts dark chocolate, I wasn't sure about the combination but was pleasantly surprised! It's not too sweet and they're non-gmo! My only complaint is that there are milk ingredients in this bar - if those were replaced I'd give it a 5 star!

If you love anything chocolate-cherry flavoured, you will love these bars! It will make you feel like you're eating dessert, (without all the calories and fat!). The pomegranate adds a nice tartness to the sweetness of the cherries and the chocolate. I love that this brand makes unique flavour combinations with healthy ingredients!

I love the clear packaging so you can immediately see what you are getting and what you are about to eat. It has the perfect amount of dark chocolate and was not too sweet or too much. The bar was full of with almonds, oats, dried cherries, crisp brown rice it was a good quality and quantity ratio. I was pretty happy to eat this sweet smelling bar. It was not to sweet and have enough crunch to it to even out the chewiness from the oats and dried fruits. I will buy these bars again as it exceeded my expectations and it was a great snack.

This bar certainly meets and even exceeds the standard I would expect from Brookside! I am always wowed by the burst of flavours in Brrokside bars and the pomegranate and cherry flavours do not disappoint. They are combined with a good mix of crunchy nuts giving the bar a crunchy texture and the perfect combination of sweet and crunchy without the sticky mess you get with some bars. The bar is wrapped in a great quality of flavourful chocolate again setting it apart from other bars. Although I find it a little pricey, I was taken by the fresh powerful aroma and sweet crunchy flavour all wrapped up in a delicious chocolate in a convenient package to have on the go.
