Healthy option, without the greasy mess!

I'm a big fan of the applewood smoked bacon from butterball! It has a nice flavour and texture. It's a great protein rich alternative to other bacon products.

Not very tasty

I tried the Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon and here is what I thought. First of all, I liked the packaging which is resealable and therefore practical. I smelled it and the smell that came to me was smoky but very light and pleasant. When I took the first slices, I noticed that they were very fragile and tear very easily. Turkey bacon cooks easily and quickly. As for the taste, I found that it didn't taste much. The taste and texture reminded me more of ham than bacon or turkey because you only taste the slight smoky flavor. I think it can be a less fatty option for those who want it or an option for those who have not eaten pork but for me it will never replace the original bacon.

Tasty without the grease

Kids love bacon and sausage for breakfast but this is our first time trying turkey bacon and sausage. The turkey bacon has a nice smoky flavor and taste just like a pork bacon but minus the grease. If you are trying to find an alternative for a greasy bacon this is a good alternative. The turkey franks tasted like a chicken hotdogs and we love that. The kids didn’t really knew that this isnt the same bacon and hotdog we usually get. They said it’s tasted the same. But a little healthier as it was made with turkey will buy this again for sure🦃

Great alternative

Tasty and convenient

Butterball has always been a household name for me. Growing up, my family and I enjoyed their turkey on the Thanksgiving holiday. This particular Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon is so delicious.

I made bacon egg cups with them using a muffin pan. I added chives as garnish, too. They turned out amazing and it was a great way to get me back into cooking. On top of that, they were really convenient to make, only taking about 20 minutes in the oven.

Although I don’t usually eat early in the mornings, I think these muffin cups will be a great way to add protein at any time of the day.

Amazing breakfast guaranteed

I served my breakfast today with Butterball’s Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon and used it in a weekend brunch wrap with scrambled eggs, avocado, and a bit of hot sauce. The smoky aroma while it cooked was amazing, and with a little extra time in the pan, it crisped up just right. The flavor had a subtle sweetness and that applewood smokiness gave the whole wrap a nice depth. It wasn’t greasy at all, which made cleanup easy and the meal feel lighter. I’ve since crumbled it over a spinach salad and even added it to a baked potato—it’s quickly become a staple in my fridge.

Butterball something new in the freezer.

I had the smoked turkey bacon as part of my dinner. I have never had this kind of bacon before so I couldn't wait to try it. It was quite good but a little dry. One thing I really liked was the lack of grease that's in regular bacon. I can see myself having this in my weekend breakfasts. I recommend everyone try this product. You will enjoy it.

Amazing Flavour!

I really loved this flavour of turkey bacon! It was smokey without tasting like ash and the hint of apple was amazing. They were incredibly easy to cook, just like regular bacon. It was great for a side for breakfast, on a grilled cheese sandwich and even on a burger!

Tastes better than bacon!

We really enjoyed this turkey bacon because honestly it tastes so much better than regular bacon. Knowing the fat content is less means a lot. We enjoyed it with an egg, cheese, in between an English muffin.
