I had this chance to try Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon. Bought in Walmart. Very impressed. My teenagers adored it, so delicious, so juicy, lightly salted and smoked. Perfect for the breakfast

I loved this low fat turkey bacon as a great accompaniment to breakfast. Perfect with eggs and toast or over a hash brown like I tried it. Tasted great and I loved knowing it was healthier for me than traditional bacon.

BEST TURKEY BACON EVER

Already a trusted brand in our home, this is hands down absolutely the best turkey bacon EVER. It actually tastes more like a Canadian bacon or ham. So, keep that in mind as it has a totally different taste than pork bacon. But it is so flavorful, not dry, and easy to cook, and super delish. You can cut the large/long strips in half or more for smaller portions, so it is easier to cook in the fry pan. Turkey bacon often doesn’t shrink or produce as much grease as pork bacon and less mess as its generally leaner than pork bacon, high in protein, lower in calories and fat. Perfect on its own, or on a sandwich/wrap, with eggs, BLT with a twist, even in salad or on a pizza. Added bonus with the resealable package!

Nice taste

This is a nice alternative to pork bacon, with less sodium. I fried it up in a pan with a little butter and made sure it was nice and crispy, definitely smells like bacon. I made a tomato and turkey bacon sandwich! It was delicious. I got to try this for free through butterly

Healthier and Tasty Option

The last time I tried turkey bacon, I found it flavourless. When I was able to try the Butterball Turkey Bacon, I found a tasty smoked Applewood flavour. It is a lean alternative (85% less fat than pork side bacon) to traditional bacon. It cooked up quickly and crispy in a skillet without all the greasy mess. Not having to worry about the splatter is also a bonus. With significantly less fat and fewer calories than regular bacon, it’s an excellent source of protein and gluten free. I can feel less guilty eating this, it is great to have at breakfast, but it is very versatile and I will use this for my next BLT, or pizza. I also appreciated the resealable package. Will be purchasing this again.

Tasty but Not Salty!

My son and I love bacon, but since we avoid pork, this felt like such a treat! I love that it’s made with turkey, which means it’s leaner, healthier, and packed with protein. I was a little worried it might be too salty, but it wasn’t at all. We used it to make a hearty breakfast sandwich, and it was so tasty. My son gave it two thumbs up. WIN! So the next time we’re craving bacon, this will definitely be our go to!

Breakfast Essential

Butterball's Applewood smoked turkey bacon has been a breakfast Essential in my home for years! It's a much healthier alternative than traditional bacon while still giving me that extra protein to start my day. Personally I like to add it on top of my avocado toast.
I also find that Butterball's Applewood smoked turkey bacon has less sodium than other turkey bacon. Highly recommended!
