The best bacon ever

Hands down the best turkey bacon I have ever tried.
Some turkey bacons have a strange texture. This one does not.
The texture is perfect. It's soft/chewy with a little grease on it like regular bacon or you can cook it until crispy. It is great both ways.
I baked mine in the oven. Took 12 minutes on 300, turning it halfway through. No fatty pieces on it at all which I like.
It is low in fat and sodium with 30% more protein and also gluten free.
The smoked applewood added a slight sweetness to it without being overly sweet.
It is 100% turkey meat.
The packaging looks very nice and you can reseal it for next time.
My new favourite bacon as I cannot eat pork.

Not quite pork bacon but still yummy

I tried this turkey bacon for free in exchange for my honest review. It’s been a long time since I’ve tried turkey bacon so I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was actually really good. As long as you don’t expect it to taste exactly like pork bacon, it’s an excellent substitute. I would recommend this and will buy it again.

Good for an alternative bacon

We tried the Butterball Turkey bacon and the taste is good but I would have liked for it to be more crispy. It was better when we cut it into smaller pieces and enjoyed it that way. It would be an alternative to regular bacon.

Amazing taste

As a bacon lover, I found turkey bacon to be a very smart, healthy alternative. Honestly, my biggest concern was how it would taste. But there’s absolutely no need to worry! It’s so delicious and has such a low fat content that anyone who wants to enjoy bacon while eating healthy can use it with confidence. After cooking, it gets wonderfully crispy and has a nicely salted flavor. I loved it! It’s so balanced that when I put it on my bread, that crispiness made it incredibly tasty. The flavor is really impressive. I loved it and will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Awesome Turkey Bacon

Best Bacon Alternative Out There

This bacon has a slightly sweet and Smokey flavour while frying up crisp. Not overly chewy like other products on the market. Perfect for adding a flavourful touch of lean protein to your diet!

Better than I expected!!

I admit, I wasn't expecting to like this bacon much. We eat bacon more frequently than we used to and as much as I enjoy bacon, I wanted to consider healthier alternatives. It was great timing that Butterball Canada decided to give me a chance to try their turkey bacon! I've heard that turkey bacon isn't that great, but I was willing to give it a shot!
The first thing I notice is that there's very little fat when cooking it. The pan we fried it in wasn't even that dirty after! The slices are also a really good size.
When it came to taste it, I reluctantly took a small bite. To my amazement, it ACTUALLY tastes like bacon! Real bacon! Both my husband and kids enjoyed it, and the fact it's healthier? That's an absolute win in my book. I will absolutely buy this again in the future. Thanks, Butterball!

Juteux et parfait

Quand on pense bacon de dinde, on peut penser que la viande sera sec, mais, ici, pas du tout ! C'était délicieux!! La viande était excellente directement en sortant du paquet qu'en la réchauffant. Ça agrémenté de nombreux plats. Je la recommande et j'en achèterai à nouveau, c'est certain.

Who Knew?

Butterball's turkey bacon has a lot of good things going for it. While it takes a little longer to cook, it is much less messy. There's no splatter or grease to speak of. The bacon also didn't shrink much at all as it cooked. The 50% less fat is also a huge plus for people who are trying to make healthier choices.

I brought the turkey bacon to a cottage weekend to get as many opinions as possible and we had mixed reviews. 50% of the kids absolutely loved it while the other half found it just ok. The adults were a little more particular. We all appreciated that there was less grease and salt but we noted it came at the cost of some of the flavour. The texture was fine for about half of us while the other half missed pork bacon's mouth feel. We all noted that it would be good in things like a sandwich or on a pizza.

I personally was a fan and would buy it again because my kids liked it. I like the healthier option and I don't like food that's too greasy. Hopefully I can get my husband on board. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
