Healthier choice

You get a lot more strips with turkey bacon. I don't think it's a bacon replacement but a product all its own. You can make it crispy and I find it has more of a ham than bacon taste. It was great for eggs Benny and would be nice in a sandwich. It is nice for breakfast for a healthier option and you aren't getting any fatty pieces. This was easier to cook than peameal bacon so it so great for a simpler eggs Benny recipe and it didn't taste really that different. Cooking it in the oven I found the best like I do with bacon. This allowed it to be less time consuming than cooking in a pan. With more stripes you can really get 2 uses out of a package so it's not that badly priced. I do recommend this but suggest to use it in a recipe as it is its own product.

Perfect breakfast add

Turkey bacon has been a favourite of mine for a long time now - but this butter ball “smoked turkey bacon” was a game changer & super tasteful, and can’t forget to mention that it is super super easy to cook & fast.
So if you are a busy mama like me you know items like this can be a huge save in the kitchen.
Overall this turkey bacon was a win win for the kids - they loved the taste & how you can eat the as a side, on a sandwich or on any tasty breakfast idea.
Great option for a change up in breakfast.

Healthy and tasty

I received Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon from Butterly in exchange for my honest opinion.

The texture of this bacon is definitely different from traditional pork bacon. You can taste the lean turkey meat, and it’s much less greasy. As you can see in the picture, there wasn’t any grease left in the pan.

The bag contains 300g of turkey bacon product. Looking at the back of the ingredients, I noticed that it only contains 9% of sodium, which is a much better and healthier alternative to traditional bacon. The ingredients are very minimal and simple. If you’re looking for a healthier version of bacon, this is a must!

Amazing turkey bacon

This applewood smoked turkey bacon was sublime. I usually do not purchase pork bacon because of the grease and fat content. This turkey bacon was delicious and had minimal grease. Cooking it was a breeze and the flavour was amazing. I've made sandwiches with it, had it with eggs for breakfast and just eaten it on its own as a treat. I will 100% purchase this bacon again and I highly recommend it to others.

Healthier bacon

I have been off eating pork for years but from time to time I do crave a good old BLT, this turkey bacon get nice and crispy and the apple wood smokey flavour is great for BLT’s. Im not a huge fan of turkey but I would purchase every once in awhile when im craving a BLT!

Turkey bacon was an excellent additional to this breakfast bake. It was also delicious on breakfast wraps as well. I love that it’s a healthier option when it comes to bacon. I will say I wish it got crispier but other than that I recommend.

Tasty, but more like ham than bacon

We tried the turkey bacon this morning for breakfast. It was a delicious addition providing tasty bacon-like but healthier option. Cook time took almost the same, the crunch was there. I would probably try the less sodium option as well.
