First tried this turkey bacon when recommended in my weight loss meal plan. Continue to use now, even for the kids, because they love that it cooks just like the bacon they're used to. We love bacon and I feel so much better about using this in meals instead of the regular kind.

Pleasantly surprised!

Tried the butterball turkey bacon and, if I am being honest, I was skeptical because I haven’t been a big fan of turkey bacon when I have tried it in the past. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the taste and the texture. Even my son (who is picky as heck) liked it. Definitely recommend!

Great alternative for guests

I like serving this when I have guests that do not eat pork. It’s great to have an alternative that is also healthier. My kids love Caesar salad, and they enjoy topping their Caesar salad with this. Can you replace real bacon, I’m afraid not.

Not to chewy turkey bacon

Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon was quite taste baked in the oven with a bit of butter mixed with sauces and seasonings. Usually I find turkey bacon chewy and bland, bit with a bit of help and baking it just right, about 15 minutes on 400 C, it was quite good all by itself. I also wrapped them around turkey franks, which added great flavour to them and kept the franks juicy!

Ham “Kind “ bacon

Looks like a ham smoked flavoured like a bacon. Overall is a good product and I may buy for a breakfast. It was Easy to find at the supermarket stores.

Delicious and healthier choice!

I really liked the Butterball Turkey Bacon. I cooked on medium-low heat and it did not take long
to be ready, it came out perfect and no fat splashing anywhere. Very tasty, smoky
and full of flavour. I had it for breakfast. I tried it on its own 1st and then add it to my toast with eggs and cream cheese, it was soooo good! but this is
perfect for many recipes. I had to hold myself from having more because 1 slice is already 50 Calories :-) I really enjoyed it and recommend it!

Yummy Breakfast Addition

It's really nice to find a breakfast alternative that is healthy, packed full of protein and still super delicious. I was quite surprised at how big the slices were but how it was packed full of flavor and didn't feel like I was chewing overdone bacon.
There was a hint of smokey and sweet in the bacon.
My household absolutely loved this bacon so I will be adding it to our grocery list more often.

Great lean alternative but not a bacon replacement

We decided to add the turkey bacon as special a treat inside our hamburgers. Although I had preferred to cook the bacon directly on the grill alongside the burgers, the package advised to cook the turkey bacon in a skillet instead. It was a smidge inconvenient as I had 1 more thing to wash, but definitely not a deal breaker.

Alas, once it was cooked and added to our burger it tasted...meh? Although I cooked it as per the directions, I wonder if I should have left it on the skillet alot longer... I found it cooked but didn't crisp up (probably due to the lack of fat in it). I love how lean it is and I think it would make a wonderful addition to a sandwich maybe in lieu of deli meat. However, I wouldn't add it to my burger as a topping nor eat it solo as part of a breakfast.
