Rotini isn't my favorite shape of pasta, but the ancient grains rotini cooked better than any other rotini I've made. It didn't fall apart or break off as I find regular rotini usually does. It tasted fine, didn't notice any difference to regular wheat rotini.

I received the product to try and followed the recipe. It taste great. Some whole grain pasta has a grainy feel and texture, but this catelli ancient grain has great taste and texture same as the normal aldente pasta. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

I love the fact I can still eat pasta and feel confident that I'm eating a nutritious meal. I have already stocked up on this.

I love pasta, especially if it's good for you, added fibre and grains, all the better! It cooked up nicely, I found I needed to cook a few minutes longer, that's normal with any whole grain pasta. It mixed well with the veggies and sauce!

I recieved this Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I am always looking for healthier foods to feed my family but sometimes have the fear of the unknown! I don't like wasting money on foods we don't like! When I recieved this Rotini I wanted to first mask it in a dish that they might not know it's different, so I made some homemade beef vegetable soup with it! I didn't put many in it as I didn't want it to be the main ingredient! Well they loved it didn't notice much of a difference! Next I tried a cold salad similar to the recipe card that came with it, it's just a pasta salad with lots of vegys, pasta and a creamy sauce that I make often and is always a hit. They did notice a slight difference in the taste as its a bit of a courser texture, maybe a tad chalky tasting but nothing offensive. They all agreed they would definitely eat it again as it will not take long to get used to the slightly different taste. I like it better actually as the pasta is firmer and I do like the slight difference in taste, just adds a bit more flavour. The benefits of this pasta over regular pasta are super! We will definitely be buying this one again and I will try some of the others that Catelli offers now that I'm not so scared to try them! Thank You Chick Advisor for giving me this opportunity, it makes me feel better I am feeding my family healthier foods without compromising the taste!

we will never go back to regular pasta!!! thank you @chick advisor for the opportunity to review this wonderful product!!!this pasta cooks up nicely ..not soggy ,not chewy but just right.. this is made with Canadain Wheat and 5 Ancient Grains that all taste great as pasta!! so good for you ..holds sauce really well too!!!!

Made this one today as lunch for the kids. The taste and texture is not what they were used to and they did not want to eat it. I felt better eating it because of what is in it. Its a great product but for my super picky family this one was not a hit. I would eat it no problem but the rest of the fam would not.

I received a free box of Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini to try as part of the Product Review Club and used the enclosed recipe to make the rotini with the 3-peas and pesto. I found that the texture of the pasta itself was a bit rougher and more coarse in comparison to white pasta. However, I actually enjoy the texture and taste of it and knowing that it is healthy with the 5 ancient grains makes it even better! I prefer this healthier pasta over the regular white pasta. Both my husband and I really enjoyed this recipe and couldn't stop eating it! I would definitely purchase this product again and would recommend it to my family and friends. Delicious!
