I got the opportunity to try the Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini through ChickAdvisor for free....and yum!!! It cooks well (doesn't get gooey or stick together), and tastes great! It's awesome that my kids get lots of fibre with this and they love the fun spiral shape.

I baked this pasta in meat sauce and baked with cheese. It held up without getting over cooked. I liked that. There wasn't a overly grainy taste like some whole grain pastas.

Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini pasta a whole goodness! It contains whole grain wheat and 5 other whole grains so its healthy and this is very important for me and my family. Its easy to prepare, done in less then 10 min and didn't stick while cooking. And most important that my picky eaters ate it, this pasta taste like regular pasta(I tried different whole grain pastas and they had some not pleasant aftertaste). Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini pasta a little bit dry for my taste so it's better serve with sauce. I definitely buy this pasta again and will recommend for my friends. Our family was divided on this pasta. Accounting for two very picky eaters in our house, their response was better than I had expected but unfortunately they were not as enthusiastic as I was about this pasta. I will likely purchase this pasta it in the future, but likely only for my own use, while my spouse and child will be using a different Catelli product.

I received a full size box of Catelli Ancient grains Rotini from #Chickadvisor Product Review Club to try out and review. This one was not a favourite in our home..maybe it's just the colour, but it didn't make us want to try it...The taste and texture was okay...probably more enjoyed by those that like whole wheat pastas. Unfortunately it won't be on our grocery list

I made it with my spicy sauce and it was good. Kids liked it but said it had a different texture. I like the healthy choices catelli is trying to make. However unless on sale I won't be buying often because we r a family of 6 and need 2 boxes to make a meal

My kids did not like this at all, they said it tasted crunchy didn't have a good texture even in a tuna casserole, will not be buying this for dinner any time soon

My kids did not like the texture of Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini. They thought it was too grainy and not firm like regular rotini. My husband and I did not mind it. Because it is healthier for you, my husband and I would eat it occasionally but my kids will probably stick with regular rotini.

I made this rotini as part of a cold pasta salad. I thought it had a grainy texture (not surprising, given the name of the product!). I would not make it again to eat cold, but I can see how it would taste good with a meat sauce instead. However, my 5 and 8 year old each took seconds of the pasta salad, so their picky palates couldn't detect a difference!

I received the Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini from ChickAdvisor for free for my honest review. With the pasta I also received a recipe card for Rotini with 3 Peas and Pesto. I followed the recipe and the dish turned out just like the picture.

My husband loved it, I thought it was okay and my kids thought the rotini was too hard. I thought the rotini was a little on the harder, denser side compared to my regular rotini but I expected this with a whole grain pasta. The recipe was very good and the flavours went well together. I might buy it again sometime as a healthier alternative but it would not replace my regular rotini. Perhaps with a rich tomato sauce it would taste better and not so "healthy".
