Not Bad, Just Not My Favourite

I received this pasta from Butterly and Catelli for free in exchange for an honest review! Out of three shapes these were my least favourite. They are still good, just when comparing to other two, I would prefer penne and elbows shaped ones. The texture is on a denser side, but that was okay with me. The main difference for me was how dry they were. Even though I cooked them longer, they tasted like they did not soak any water in. You can definitely tell they’re different from the classical spaghetti because of the taste and texture. I cooked them as a side dish, but if I were to buy them next time, I’d eat them just with butter. I’m giving 4 stars because they did not make me bloated, which is a huge thing for me when choosing food, so I know the ingredients work well for me! And that’s why I would also recommend to try it out. Maybe it’s just me who didn’t enjoy the texture and taste. For the reason why I would hesitate to purchase this item I had to choose “effectiveness” because all the other options were even less suitable, but it’s really just taste and texture for me.

Healthiest Pasta in 2025

It tastes so good, doesn't taste like you are eating lentils, peas or chick peas. Our toddler loves it, its healthy. The fact that it is made in Canada, you know its going to be good!

This pasta helps me get my protein! I had been avoiding pasta due to the carbs. Now that I have this option, I can enjoy my favourite pasta dishes without the guilt!

Great Texture & Classic Pasta Taste!

This exceeded my expectations! I’ve tried a lot of protein pastas on the market and they often taste grainy or turn to mush. The catelli spaghetti actually tastes like pasta. The texture was ever so slightly different, but I’m also very texture-sensitive and could still tolerate it!
