90% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I've been using this since I was young. I probably have like 5 just lying around my house. This is what my family uses too. It's simple and it's original and it does what chapsticks are meant to do..moisturize your lips.
I loved this product! It's not greasy, it stays put and my boyfriend loves it ! I live in a cold dry climate and this product is perfect for me ! i LOVE it !
First of all I really don't like wearing lipstick so I really do like chapstick. I don't love it but it is good. Actually I must say I do like the cherry one really makes my lips taste good :) so if your going on a date and you don't want to over due the lipstick I recommend great for a first kiss
I bought ChapStick mint lip balm only because it's on sale. After I've tried it. It is not a product that I would recommend. First I'm heard using too much mineral oil on your lips is not good for your health. Secondly this product feels really thick and almost like your lips won't be able to breathe. I kept one tube in bag just in case if I forgot to bring my makeup purse. Afterall, I wouldn't really recommend Chapstick
ChapStick is pretty much the original for most people. I am here on a secret mission to make you see the light, however! For years and years my mother swore by her ChapStick. She bought one for everyone in the family come winter time usually. I always had that little red tube in my tiny pocket books when I was younger. But finally my mother broke down in here favorite place [dollar store] and got a different product called Carmex. It is absolutely amazing! Carmex might be slightly thicker of a product but the intensity of it definitely outweighs that point. It instantly moisturizes and starts to tingle [in a good way]. Within minutes I can rub my lips together and all my dead skin seems to just ball up and disappear with Carmex. ChapStick seems to just sit on top of my problem areas and sort of smooth them out instead of just peeling off the dead skin. To me ChapStick is the more expensive, tastier brand. I'd rather have smooth lips than chapped ones that might taste like cherries.
I'm a lip balm addict but I ALWAYS come back to Chapstick. I don't like the fact that with most lip balms I've used, I am always conscious of it just sitting on my lips (i.e. too waxy, greasy, drying, minty, doesn't absorb, etc). With Chapstick, I barely pay attention to how my lips feel. I don't find it waxy at all and it prevents my lips from drying out. I need to have it on me at all times and if I don't, I go and buy another one. You can never have too many! The price is pretty affordable. I'm not sure how much the drug store sells them for (I think under $3) but I have even found them at Dollar stores in the past. I've actually been using Chapstick Classics (the red ones) since I was 4 and I probably will for the rest of my life!!
I buy 3 and 4 tubes of this stuff and have it all over the place; my desk, my car, my purse, my coat pocket!
Love it, not greasy, stays with me and keeps my lips from being dry!
This is a decent lip balm. Although waxy, it goes on pretty smoothly, smells nice, and gives my lips good sun protection. As for how well it moisturizes my lips, I wouldn't use this in the winter on my windburnt lips, but they are decent for daywear in the spring/ summer, under some smoother and better quality lipgloss. After a while, if you do not use it, it doesn't seem as effective...The price is really fantastic, and the lip balm isn't that bad though.
Fantastic price, but leaves my lips feeling waxy. I prefer a more expensive brand that makes my lips softer. I get the feeling when I use the cheap stuff that my lips get addicted and I have to use it more and more.
