Has changed who I am.

This is the cheapest of the various food boxes available, and while the cost is lower the quality is still great. I never really used to cook. Now for nearly 2 years I've gotten these boxes and it's changed who I am as a person! I love it and I love as a single person how affordable it is, an how many meals I get out of each kit. My only wish would be they'd get a tiny bit more creative now and then, but honestly it's fine. :)

Life changer!

I don't think there's nuch negative to say about this service. I'm always impressed with the meals, tasting delicious. It's by far incredibly practicle to have everything pre portioned and allows for significantly less food waste. Gives also a change to experience a variety of different flavors throughout the week as to not get bored of the same classic meals.

A great break!!

With life being busier than ever I needed something to help out with our meals. I think chefs Plate was the right choice for us. It was so nice to come home to an early delivery (1pm) I popped everything in the fridge, the produce looked fresh and the meat was in a separate cold bag, and the everything was still cool and fresh. Our meal tasted great and was a good healthier choice than we would of had on a busy night. Took me about 30 minutes total and we loved it.

A must try!!!

This is the best ready made home meals there is out there. Their meals come nicely packed in a box with recipes included. Their service is top notch, willing to assist customer service reps, very user friendly app. You can easily skip if too.

well priced and so easy

Dinner is finally hassle free! Chef's Plate is a lifesaver. Meals taste great, are easy to make and are very well priced. Sometimes we even have leftovers for lunch the next day!

Best price I've seen for a mealkit! and tastes great!

Love this meal kit.... it tastes just as good as competitors but is way more affordable. Also love that there is zero waste and the option for 2 meals a week instead of 3. Better if you live alone.

The best on the market

I have been buying the box weekly, and it never let me down.
The variety of meals is huge, always bringing new things to the menu. The products are of high quality, always fresh, and very well packaged. Most packaging is recyclable, so it does not generate as much waste as other boxes on the market. Also, the value is super accessible.

Best meal service

I have tried most other Canadian meal services. Among them.i like chefs plate most. This should get number one position. It hsgood value of money. No hassle to cancel or skip meal. Meal recipes are good too. Customer service is excellent. They always try to help. Price is so much affordable than any other meal plans. Has a very good promotion. I highly recommend chefs plate to all.

Usually it's a home run!

I order Chef's Plate almost weekly. I love the meals, they are easy and my kitchen illiterate partner has no problem making them!
The product is pricey but you pay for the convenience of the meals! I do find that there are occasionally billing errors where I a double charged, they will resolve the issue quickly but a refund can take 3-5 days to be processed by your bank.
Occasionally they will forget ingredients in your meal kit, if you contact them they are easy to deal with on this matter and will issue a credit for your next order.
Of the 3 Canadian Mealkits I have tried (good food, miss fresh and chef plate) Chef plate is my favorite!

Really fresh and easy to prepare

I have been trying out a number of meal kits this year and have been having great experiences so far. Chef's Plate ingredients were very fresh and the recipes were easy to make. I also liked that they didn't go overboard on lots of plastic packaging so it felt more eco-friendly than some of the other meal kits. I also love that the ingredients are all very normal things that I buy regularly anyway, so I have tucked away all of my past recipes to make again. So far our favourite from Chef's Plate is the Italian Sausage Orecchiette with rapini and parmesan.

These dishes cost more per person than fast food but definitely a lot less than eating at a restaurant. Could I cook for cheaper? Yes. But this takes all the thinking out of it and for a working mom like me, it can be a lifesaver. We don't order this every week, but I do treat us to a box a couple of times a month to help with the busy after-work/school time. Recommended!
