A Convenient, Nutritious, and Elevated Tuna Meal

I enjoyed the Rio Mare Insalatissime Corn and Light Tuna Salad as a great for on-the-go snack/meal, post-workout fuel, or a quick meal when you just don’t feel like prepping. For me it’s the convenience without compromising on taste, quality, or nutrition! The Tuna and Sweet corn nicely combined the tuna perfectly with the sweetness of corn, the baby carrots and peas. These are surprisingly elevated for a canned tuna meal (I’m used to tuna-and-mayo combo, so this felt like a step up). I found them light and the tuna isn’t heavy or oily, plus the different veggie combos add a nice sweetness that balances it out. They have a good texture mix with firmer tuna pieces than I expected so it doesn’t feel mushy. Seasoning is mild but pleasant. I like how they are super easy to eat straight from the can. Not necessarily something I’d crave, but definitely not bad. A solid option when I want something quick and a bit more “put together” than my usual tuna routine. I am always on the hunt for easy ready-meals rich in protein and carbohydrates, as a smart easy choice for a quick, simple, easy balanced high protein content and nutritious ingredients, making it a smart choice!

This tuna with corn salad is a convenient addition to your lunch bag. It’s quick, packed with protein, and incredibly tasty.

No mess, no dishes to clean up. Just peel the top and use the can as a bowl. It’s very flavourful and satiating.

No mixing required. It’s literally ready to go. Perfect for on the go or for an easy bite to eat at home. I’m a huge fan of these and will absolutely be stocking my pantry.

Easy for quick snack or small meal

This tuna salad is very convenient for a quick small meal or added to other ingredients, such as a bed of lettuce to make a larger salad or to rice for q quick rice bowl meal. Made with tuna, peas, carrots, olives it's high in protein with 14g of protein per bowl. I found the mix to be lighter and more neutral in taste, aside from the olives which added the bulk of the flavour. I found it slightly oily and the peas had the mushy canned pra taste - it wasn't my favourite if I'm being honest. I would probably not eat this in it's own and add it to something else with a bit more spices and flavour.

Delicious tuna salad

I absolutely loved this tuna salad. There was a lot of tuna mixed with corn, carrots, peas and olives. It had great flavour and was easy and convenient to eat. The only thing is it is oily but I found that added to the flavour and made it smooth. Delicious and a pantry must have.

Tuna salad, salads they feel so gourmet and are full of so much nutritious value I love the high protein and full of flavour dish it’s so easy to serve up. All you have to do is open the can and right there you have your lunch.

Very tasty

I was impressed by how much flavour is packed into this can! The tuna pairs so well with the sweet corn and peas! These cans are so convenient for taking on the go, the perfect protein packed snack.
