I didn't love this heat protectant. The smell is mild, and that's a positive. I found it quite sticky, almost like a hairspray, and that made it difficult to work with. If any amount of spray got on a section of hair I wasn't working with, it would get to sticky to comb through by the time I was ready to straighten it. This product was expensive, so I expected better quality.

What a great product !! Works really well for my hair , keeps them from been damage from blow drying or straightening my hair everyday and its cheap. I also find it smells great compare to some other heat protectors.

CHI 44 Iron Guard works very well. Excellent for straightening OR curling your hair. Protects your hair and helps tame frizz and flyaways. It's the only product I've found that actually makes my hair stay straight!

I've tried a few heat protectant sprays, and while it's hard to judge them, this one is my favorite, mostly for the scent and the shine it gives my hair. This stuff can be pricey, but you can find it cheaper than regular price at stores like Marshall's and TJMaxx, as well as online at places like Amazon. This doesn't smell great, but it doesn't smell bad, like some others I've tried. This leaves my hair soft and shiny.

I have a Chi straightener, so was intrigued by a Chi heat-protecting product. The product itself smells alright, and sprays on feeling a bit sticky (similar to hairspray). However, I do think it does a pretty good job of protecting my hair. It's a bit pricey, but it's currently what I use in tandem with a hair serum in order to keep my hair protected while I straighten it.

I like this product and had never heard of it until last Friday. I got highlights added to my hair for the 1st time and 5 inches cut off. She wanted to straighten my hair, which I've always had naturally curly hair. Before she used the flatiron, she sprayed my hair with this. It smelled so amazing and did an awesome job on my hair.

I colored my hair a Bright Red i new i would need some good quality Hair Products. I was In winners Looking at at Chi Thermal Protectant Kit it came with The 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protectant spray. I actually ran into my hair dresser at winners and she said chi is a great product to use on my my hair. I Use this spary on dry hair before i use my flat iron, has a light smell but smells good and works well coating my hair to protect it from the heat of my flat iron! Love this stuff!

This product smells soooo good and it lasts you quite a long time. It takes me about a years use until I have to buy a new bottle of it. I don't straighten my hair too often but when I do I want to make sure that my hair is being protected from the heat of the straightener, and this product is the perfect protector for my hair.

Only thermal spray I will put in to my hair while applying Heat. Works amazing

Works well but I've tried things that are cheaper and work just as well.
I really like the smell of chi products but I can't say that everyone feels the same. It's kind of like a masculine smell. You have to use a normal amount because if you use too much your hair will be weighed down and feel sticky.
