I took a chance on this sauce because a) I am a spice fiend, b) it is locally produced (St Albert) and c) it has a scary looking sugar skull guy on the front :)

I expected this sauce to be very spicy (there was a spicy and a mild option, I chose spicy) but it was pretty mild. Don't get me wrong, there is definitely some spice there and it'd probably warm you up if you aren't big on spice, but if you're looking to blow your mind with spice then this sauce is not for you. It's still very tasty though and would make a really good bbq sauce/marinade. I'd describe the flavour as smokey, sweet, tangy with a slight spicy kick.

Definitely a good family bbq sauce! I definitely look forward to supporting this company going forward :)
